Five pools with temps ranging from 102 to112 F. Small rocks on the pool bottoms, massaging feet tired from hiking. Soaking while taking in lush landscaping and mountain views. Heated floors in changing area. We bought the all day pass for a few bucks more so we could come multiple times that day. It is really spectacular watching the steam... More

Many different pools and temperatures to choose from. Lovely grounds and clean changing/shower areas. Loved walking the Sunken Gardens trail and the view from the gazebo.

We weren't planning on going to these Hot Springs, but are so glad we did!! These are not sulfur hot springs - so there's not the smell that goes along with them. Lava Hot Springs is a very small town, and there are not a lot of hotels (we were at the KOA campground). The hot springs have about 5... More

The town is so cute and such a green surprise after the wide-open drive through the mountains...loved it. We were at the hot spings for about 90minutes...parking seems very limited but there is a small lot across the street at a motel. Everythng is so clean and pleasant, towels and lockers can be rented. There are shade canopies partially covered... More

We loved the fact that the hot spring pools are open until 11:00 PM. This allowed us to enjoy a leisurely dinner and then soak in the Hot Springs prior to going to bed! the Hot Springs are open 363 days a year (excluding Thanksgiving & Christmas)! Even better, the springs were literally 200' from our hotel (The Home Hotel)!

We like to check out various hot springs. We drive up and down I-15 between Montana and Salt Lake from time to time and the little detour to Lava Hot Springs are well worth it. Better plan on getting a motel room though because you will be so wrung out after soaking you will need to put your feet up!... More

The complex consists of 5 pools ranging from 102 to 112 degrees. The two hottest are directly over the hot springs bubbling up to them. Be careful not to drink much alcohol or stay too long because the effect can be quite intoxicating. Facility is clean and friendly. You can rent all you need -- towels, even swimsuits. We went... There is no swimming there, just soaking, which was a disappointment to the kids. As the night wears on, some of the people who come in that are kind of sketchy. Don't drink alcohol and then get in or you will be more intoxicated than you have ever been in your life. I went but I won't go again, because... More

We stopped here for an hour. Nice and clean hot springs. Good value for money. Hot springs do not have sulphur here, so it even smells nice.

I've been going to lava hot springs since I was a kid and have always had a great time. My family went up for labor day and once again had a wonderful time. The hot pools are relaxing and perfect after a long day of traveling. They have places to change at the hot pools, and they have pools with... More
