Lava Hot Springs is a well run modern facility complete with comfortable changing rooms and showers. The pools are equipped with hand rails and non slip stairs. There are grassy areas for relaxing or sun bathing. The water temperature ranges from 112° to 102°. There are also shade sails through the bathing area to offer sun protection. The Olympic size... Nice little retreat to soak and relax. It's better in the winter when it is cold outside because the water is so hot. You can definitely get overheated in the summer. Clean facility, friendly staff. Wide range of visitors from foreigners to locals; families, young couples, retired couples.

We went on a Tuesday around 4:00pm and it wasn't very crowded, maybe 12 other people there. Had the biggest pool to ourselves for a little bit. The water is very hot and it took me a few minutes to get in! But once I did the experience was relaxing and peaceful. Only issue was that after 15 minutes or... More

Many pools to choose from however, was only able to stay comfortably in the 103 degree pool. Tried the others but could only dip feet in...was a very hot Memorial Weekend and the hotter pools just didn't feel very good. Facilities are very nice and the prices to get in are very affordable. If you plan to be there for... More

This place is nice. Absolute paradise with snow all around you. Some of the pools are very crowded. And it's lacking place with snacks. Stuff is very nice and helpful.

The hot pools are so fun! We love going, especially in the winter. There are 3 pools with different levels of heat. The coolest one feels like a hot bath and I can't even walk through the hottest one :) The scenery is beautiful, small arena seating in the pools. It reminds me of a spa. Love the vibe of... More

Such well kept grounds! Staff friendly, and the price of admitting is fair for anyone wanting a quick soak or a day of soaking!

A great relaxing time spent in a hot pool. Dressing rooms available with lockers and locks. Time well spent. No food allowed in pools.

Great to sit in. Three levels of heat. very nice complex. Only go to the state park complex, don't go to the dirty private one.
