I'm a hot spring enthusiast and I can say that Lava Hot Springs is one of my favorite hot springs of all time. Clean, diverse, and well-laid out, this place has various different hot pools varying in temperature and style. The hottest pool is often the least crowded and most quiet, offering relaxation in relative privacy. Whenever I visit southeast... More

Love these pools - easy to find, easy to use, and pretty affordable for what you get. Had enough variation for our group to enjoy. I personally loved the really hot pool and it was pretty empty! Great stop on the road trip.

We loved this place. It was well-maintained and a gorgeous setting. There a plenty of pools to choose from, going from hottest to hot. Towel and locker rental were easy-peasy, and the whole thing isn't particularly expensive. Would love to return.

I've recently been to several hot springs so it's fun to compare. This place is newer and nicer than crystal hot springs in honeyville. No slides and the pools are largely warmer than Crystal. A tad too warm for my liking, we (and most of the other guests) hung out in the cool (106-102) degree pool. Crystal has their hottest... More

I enjoyed every summer day in the pools. This is a great family attraction and has something for everyone; from the hot springs to the large swimming pool and diving boards/platforms. The town of Lava is quaint and a nice stop for those on their way to Yellowstone or back to Pocatello.

These hot water pools and grounds will give you such peace and tranquility, and they will relax you all while providing a little sense of adventure , too. For $6 you can enjoy this State park all day as they provide wrist bands. Beautiful grounds with flowers and trees invite you to take pictures and enjoy as you sit in... More

The hot pools are a great place to relax. We started the morning here and it was very calm. We bought our dual passes for the hot pools and the swimming complex here in the morning, and it made it much faster to get into the swimming complex in the afternoon. Please note, some of the pools are hotter than... More
