Lava Hot Springs offers a couple of different pool site which are both very nice. We really enjoyed soaking in the pools after a day of tubing down the river. There is no sulfur or chlorine smell just nice relaxing heat. Very nice

I never expected to find a thermal spa in SE Idaho--particularly one in nice condition. It is clean, well maintained, and NO SULPHUR smell! The lava stone pebbles in one pool are a delicious sensory treat.

After two days of river tubing, hiking, adn zip lining this was the perfect ending. Spent a couple of hours soaking my sore muscles in the hot mineral spring water. They have nice locker facilites and the pools and grounds are well maintained with plenty of shade.

spent an afternoon relaxing and enjoying the pools. Changing rooms were clean and have lockers for all your stuff. Just be aware you need quarters every time you want to open and close your locker.

We went to visit a family friend that lives in the area. We went down on a Saturday night. We parked across the street which wasnt bad at all. The dressing rooms were okay. The pools were a little crowded, but it was a Saturday night. Overall it was a good experience and very relaxing. The town is very cool.... More

We enjoyed soaking here for two days, trying the different temperatures of each pool. Noticed there is no sulfur smell here & the water seems very clear & clean. We will return!

Lava is such a cool little town. Good place for families and for the younger bar going crowd. Something for everyone. Lots of fun shops, you can float the river in the summer, go to the swimming pools or relax in the hot pools. Great atmosphere.

We always have a relaxing time when we visit Lava's hot pools. They are beautiful, well maintained and there are several pools with varying degrees of water. Plus there is no sulfer smell in the water!
