I enjoyed every summer day in the pools. This is a great family attraction and has something for everyone; from the hot springs to the large swimming pool and diving boards/platforms. The town of Lava is quaint and a nice stop for those on their way to Yellowstone or back to Pocatello.

These hot water pools and grounds will give you such peace and tranquility, and they will relax you all while providing a little sense of adventure , too. For $6 you can enjoy this State park all day as they provide wrist bands. Beautiful grounds with flowers and trees invite you to take pictures and enjoy as you sit in... More

The hot pools are a great place to relax. We started the morning here and it was very calm. We bought our dual passes for the hot pools and the swimming complex here in the morning, and it made it much faster to get into the swimming complex in the afternoon. Please note, some of the pools are hotter than... More

Clean pool side where you can lay down after soak in hot spring. You can bring your own towel or you can rent them! Pretty hot when you first step in, but you will used to the temperature soon.

This place is halfway between Jackson and Salt Lake city and therefore, we decided to stop by for a couple of hours on our way back to Salt Lake city. The briefing given by the cashier was very helpful, especially on safety aspects. The hotter pools have fine stones on the bottom, so they served as foot reflexology equipment. Highly... More

The pools are good for adults but there is no cool pool and it's simply too hot for young ones. Lots of mosquitoes at night. The bathrooms smelled. Good: pools were clean, staff nice and they have showers and lockers.

Difficult to find parking, we ended up parking on the street. Several of the pools seem very dirty or poorly maintained, but the water did not have the unpleasant odor often associated with hot springs. I probably would have been a lot more positive about the place had there been better maintenance... on the whole town.
