I took my children and their friends to Lava Hot Springs in Idaho and we had a great time. We went to the Olympic pool rather than the hot tubs because it was too hot outside. The pool area was clean and they have good hamburgers and fries if you want a snack. I felt it was a little on... More

Husband and I went for one night and stayed in the Spa room. Very nice room with a huge heart shaped jetted tub. Their hot pools are much nicer than the community pools and I would recommend paying to use these but when you stay here, they are free to use. The Inn was quiet and within walking distance to... We mostly enjoyed our stay at the hotel after the shock of our rooms being across the street behind the local market. You have to take standard quality for the area into consideration when staying in Lava. I was however not ready for room to be located off property. It was not advised when booked over the phone or easily... More

went out for coffee 3 separate hometown residents said we should not have stayed Here. The worst thing was the manager saying "The Hilton charges to use their pool after checkout". NOT true. We travel extensively-You are a guest til you depart. They even hold luggage!

As far as the places to stay in Lava Hot Springs this is a good one. It is a Motel so do not expect the Hilton. The rooms are large and clean. The lady at the front desk was very nice.

I love the environment, beautiful surrounds. The evening music by Bachelor Bob was the best. He is a modern country western singer, song writer. He plays guitar and accordion among other instruments, He has a great voice. Friendly and entertaining. You must see him and hear his voice. A great evening with good music. Pools were great too! Always worth the short drive for a float down the river in the summers, or relaxing in the hot pools year round.

We like the pools and atmosphere of the Inn. George, the owner, is so very pleasant to visit with and everyone should go just to meet him.
