Blacks Creek Hours of operation

Nice range , Excellent range masters. Need to expand hours of operation and open up 500 yard range to high power rifles who supply their own targets.

You're allowed to bring your own targets too. The target distances are at 25 yds, 50 yds, 100yds, and 200 yds. It also has a pistol range, silhouettes, and combat range.... More

Yep, Cowboy Action Shooting. This is a public range just a little outside of Boise that plays host to the local CASS matches. If you've never gone, go. It's a hoot as everyone dresses in period costume and assumes an alternate identity. Some of those folks can really shoot, too.

Too exclusive for a PUBLIC shooting range since half of it is closed to the public. But if you need the amenities of a range... You are left with no other choice in the boise area

A safe, close by alternative to plinking in the desert. This is a closely supervised spot for all kinds of target practice, competitive or not. My children have had great esperiences shooting out here for many years. I heartily recommend this place for all those looking for a safe shooting spot for small bore or high powered weapons. See you... More
