I went in both buildings. The exhibits were nicely done. The curator was friendly and helpful. My only negative is that when the video is playing, if... More

recently re-visited the museum after its greatly-needed re-do and think it looks 10,000% better than its former self ever did (which was rather Dank Smelling & Boring). Highly recommended and a Great Value for the money. :DDDDD

The gate was open so we could walk around the site and look at the old buildings. However, the Ski Museum was still closed with the sign "Closed due to unforeseen circumstances" still posted. You might wish to call first!

Were Closed When They Were Supposed to Be Open! Went at 1 in the afternoon, on a Monday, and there was a sign on the door that they were closed for some "unforseen reason". We had scheduled our entire afternoon a round that to go there. Were they out of volunteers or? Small, and not much to speak of on... More

This is a great small museum. One building covers local history and another covers a brief history of skiing in the region. One docent was very busy covering the whole thing, but we enjoyed the stop

we tried to go here, but they were closed for a remodel during the peak of ski season. What's that about? Why not do a remodel during the SUMMER when the winter sports enthusiasts aren't around? We would have liked to have gone here, but couldn't.

What a great museum to check out in Ketchum. Ski history and local history. Great videos on skiing at Sun Valley and also on Hemmingway.

Good collection of old skis, history, and local ski icons! Another cabin has Wood River Valley History and even Hemmingways Typewriter ! Set in a Forest Service Town Park where they have free concerts occaisionally in the summer !
