Beautiful surroundings. Gorgeous homes. So much potential. It was deserted. Many buildings were unfinished.

My wife and I had never been to the resort, nor had we known anyone that had ever been there. It is a ten hour drive from Olympia Wa to Tamarack. So we were more than a little wary. After leaving early in the morning, we arrived at Osprey meadows. We were greted by a freindly staff. The property was... More

After years of struggle, there may be light at the tunnel for this resort. The Hotel is finished and the ski slope is supposed to be open all week this year. The HOA owns the golf course and it is in great shape. The restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday. Keeping my fingers crossed as this is a great location... More

Great long runs and easy to find untracked snow. Only downside is they are only open Thursday-Sunday. But at the same time you have Monday-Wednesday for the powder to stack up! So much fun.

The long runs are great, but some weren't groomed and the overall feeling was that this place is being managed on a shoestring. The lodge wouldn't let me bring my own food inside - I've not experienced a ski lodge not open to the skiers in general. I wanted to buy a light beer, but none on tap. The bartender... More

Tamarack Resort is always an awesome experience! despite the lack of snow in recent years, the ticket value, the smiling staff, the excellent food options (especially this year), and the terrain parks/lifts/grooming are all fantastic! for all the problems they have encountered over the years they have put so much effort into creating a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere one... We stayed for three nights in July and had a nice stay. It is a smaller resort with, I believe, 57 rooms. The location, views and scenery around the resort at tops. The hotel gym, pool and whirpool areas are also outstanding. The rooms are adequate, with nicely appointed decor, adquate beds and a spacous bathrooms. About half the rooms... More

We have a nearby cabin and have purchased family season passes for the past couple of years and we LOVE the mountain here! My 14, 12, & 8 y/o boys love coming here because the staff is friendly, the area is uncrowned and roomy for beginner skiers. The mountain is roomy for all levels of skiers! I really appreciate the... Of all the Western Idaho resorts, Tamarack opened first, and had the best snow. While Bogus was a literal rock garden in places towards the end, I didn't hit one rock the entire season at Tam. 2800 ft of vertical, and rarely a crowd. Because there are no waiting in lines, 3 hrs of skiing at Tam is like 9... More
