I would NEVER rent from Valet Vacation Rentals as they have been completely non-responsive to my friend Douglas S's concerns and have still refused to return his deposit. I know we left that house in better shape than it was when we first walked in. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! A good friend of ours rented the very large... More

I rented the largest home that Valet Vacations Rentals has on the "rental pool". What a mistake. It was sub-standard at best. the gas fireplace, spa, dishwasher, BBQ, and master bedroom thermostat were broken. None of the outside lights on the decks, front porch, worked. The 2-upstairs bedrooms and bathroom - the linens had not been changed forcing my guests... More

Best place to ski in Idaho, in my humble opinion. No lift lines, great snow, fair prices. Just don't stay at the Lodge hotel here. It's the worst.

Our family rented a chalet before Christmas and had a wonderful experience. The chalet was beautiful, well stocked with kitchen utensils, bath and spa towels, lovely comfortable bedrooms. There was a power outage with record snow fall, and the emergency supplies and fire wood were short in supply. We pretended we were off the grid, but appreciated the return of... More

this place has been in legal trouble for years and construction is spotty. Services are off and on and not dependable for quality or service. Be careful counting on this.

Would you buy food from hungover, grumpy, non-customer service friendly cooks? When you've been skiing all day you get hungry and at Tamarack there aren't a lot of options. Tried out the Canoe Grill which has the typical cafe style look you'll find at any mountain. On top of the food being below par the cooks were all moving incredibly... More

If you like solitude, you will be ecstatic. The place is built in such a way that even half full it feels empty and lonely. The constantly staffed knowledgeable golf shop is in the basement and you'll have to hunt for it. Even the last steps there are three doors to choose from. The nicest door leads to the garage.?s'gjw[e... More

This place has great snow and great slopes, and absolutely no wait for lifts. You can literately ski your butt off. I'm a beginner and hubby is an expert skier, and we both had great times. The staff was extremely friendly and by the second day they knew us by names. Lift tickets, rentals, and lessons were very affordable. However,... More

The slopes are wonderful, but it is depressing going up, since the bankruptcy, there are skeleton buildings everywhere.

This is a beautiful resort that has many amenities. Keep in mind that the resort is in the midst of a bankruptcy reorganization so some of the facilities are not complete. With that in mind, everything you need is available here. We had New Year's dinner at the Seven Devils restaurant and the service was excellent, even with a packed... More
