There are lots of trees and grassy area to enjoy. When we walked through to walk along the beach there was live music coming from the bandstand. Restroom facilities are available and the beach area is a few steps away. There is free parking at the back of the Memorial Field lot.

Lots of beach area. A couple of food vendors and an awesome park for the kids. Parking is just steps away.

Walking through the park was very nice. People were all around but they were quite nice and helpful and one felt safe walking along the walkway buy the lake.

A short walk from CDA Independence Park to the East of The Coeur d'Alene Hotel is McEuen Park. There is a walking trail around the point which has routes a 1 to 2 mile route along the shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene. If you have a dog it is excellent for exercise. The trail is somewhat primitive and there are... More

Am a resident of Coeur D'Alene and enjoy the Coeur D'Alene Park regularly during all seasons. View of the Lake is awesome, walking paths great, even for Seniors. Enjoy the boat cruise around the Lake, views are awesome. Have experienced the Iron Man Events from the Coeur D'Alene Park, the city streets...can view the swimming and finishing of the running... Great park, clean and fantastic beach! The water is so warm and the beach is huge. Lots of big trees for shade if you want.

My kids like this beach for the sand. Of all of the local beaches, they prefer this one for digging in the sand. As a mother, I like how there are lifeguards although they don't seem to work on Monday. The parking is free if you park in the lot behind the baseball field across the street. It is a... More

The park is amazing and it is really nice that it is well shaded by the trees. Also has great access to the beach and lake. And we rode bikes along the trail by the lake too. Fun for all ages!

The park is very well-kept. Walked along the beach-to cold to be in the water this time of year. But was able to take some interesting pictures of the sights.
