This park is great. The play area is contained so you don't have to worry too much about wandering kids, it's an awesome play structure, there's a beach, and the grassy picnic areas are fantastic. Only draw back is that parking can be tricky.

We had heard lots of positive things about the beach front- we weren't disappointed. There is free parking for 2 hours at the city hall and public library that is locked right next to an amazing playground that sits on grass turf with just a pocket of sand if your toddler must dig in. Close and clean public restrooms and... More

A nice place to go to relax by the water. Beautiful scenery and great place for kids to play. I don't have small children but the grassy areas to run in, the playground, and the beach offer a fun place for families.

There were many families using the park, with picnic tables, covered areas, clean restrooms, and great playground equipment for the kids. The park is easily accessible with parking nearby.

Pleasant place to relax and enjoy the view. CDA lake is beautiful. Landscape is awesome. Friends were married here and it was a beautiful setting. Adequate parking as well.

Love the old growth trees and free concerts!! Also the best beach on Lake CDA. There are many great restaurants within walking distance.

Had a great walk around the park in the snow. Very nice and adjacent to library and resort. Path even cleared of snow.

Great place to see. A true slice of what's to love in America. Stay away on holidays, too crowded, and the locals don't handle their liquor well. Young bucks in the rut nearly always resort to fisticuffs around the does, nice any other time. Fantastic Beach!

We visited the park one afternoon in October and my child had fun. Between the Ft Sherman playground, sandy beaches, and the 3/4 mile broad walk around the CDA resort we had lots to keep us entertained for a couple hours. As mentioned in a previous post there were some questionable people hanging around the bandstand near the playground. They... More
