Had a great walk around the park in the snow. Very nice and adjacent to library and resort. Path even cleared of snow.

Great place to see. A true slice of what's to love in America. Stay away on holidays, too crowded, and the locals don't handle their liquor well. Young bucks in the rut nearly always resort to fisticuffs around the does, nice any other time. Fantastic Beach!

I lived in CD'A for a long time and when i came back to visit family i had forgotten how beautiful it was.. the park has all the picinic amenities as well as the georgous beach along with the play grounds. We visited the park one afternoon in October and my child had fun. Between the Ft Sherman playground, sandy beaches, and the 3/4 mile broad walk around the CDA resort we had lots to keep us entertained for a couple hours. As mentioned in a previous post there were some questionable people hanging around the bandstand near the playground. They... More

Of course the lake and general area is beautiful but unfortunately questionable people inhabit this place to prey on the unsuspecting tourists. There is usually a large group of vulgar, swearing and generally disgusting young people hanging out under the shade of the trees on the main sidewalk right next to Independence Point. I come by this area frequently on... More

Coeur d'Alene knows how to keep their town clean and beautiful. Beautiful flowers blooming, nice green maintained grass, sandy beach, and overall inviting atmosphere.

This park is peaceful, lovely and quiet. A perfect place to walk and enjoy nature. I would love to bring my grandchildren to play here. I would return ~

This is a beautiful park overlooking the lake and beauty of Coeur d' Alene Resort. The floating dock is great way to see all of the boats in the marina. The views are spectacular and everything is so clean and well manicured. Idyllic, peaceful, and inviting and the fall colors are outstanding!

Spent 4 days for a conference and made a point to visit the park and adjacent nature trails each day. Lovely setting
