The beaches, playground, bandshell, basketball courts here have something for everyone. There are beautiful trees, picnic tables, bbqs, grass, sand, and sidewalks. Parking can be challenging, but worth the walk. If you need to, drop off kids and stuff, then go find parking. It is worth the walk.

Lots to do in the park and many were enjoying the great weather. Basketball, frisbee and football, along with roller blades and skateboarding.

I want by myself and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Easy hiking and just long enough. Beautiful views of the lake.

Loved Independence Park and enjoyed walking the floating boardwalk. The shops are welcoming and overall reasonably priced. Watch the kayaking, jet skis, and motor boats.

There are plenty of things to do at this place. It is near the main city center area and also on the water, so this is the place to go on your first visit. Plenty of shops, restaurants, etc.

Using a scooter or electrric chair is sometimes difficult for those of us who need them for transportation. The dockis very accessible and I would encourage anyone to visit and enjoy.

Free parking, close to the lake and the resort. Great for family to explore and visit. Lots of things to do in the surrounding area. Trail starts here. Nice beach to kick back and relax. The public bathroom is a nice building, can't miss it towards the edge of the beach area. Access to the Coeur d'Alene Resort boardwalk makes... More

This park is great. The play area is contained so you don't have to worry too much about wandering kids, it's an awesome play structure, there's a beach, and the grassy picnic areas are fantastic. Only draw back is that parking can be tricky.
