We visited the park one afternoon in October and my child had fun. Between the Ft Sherman playground, sandy beaches, and the 3/4 mile broad walk around the CDA resort we had lots to keep us entertained for a couple hours. As mentioned in a previous post there were some questionable people hanging around the bandstand near the playground. They... More

Of course the lake and general area is beautiful but unfortunately questionable people inhabit this place to prey on the unsuspecting tourists. There is usually a large group of vulgar, swearing and generally disgusting young people hanging out under the shade of the trees on the main sidewalk right next to Independence Point. I come by this area frequently on... More

Coeur d'Alene knows how to keep their town clean and beautiful. Beautiful flowers blooming, nice green maintained grass, sandy beach, and overall inviting atmosphere.

This park is peaceful, lovely and quiet. A perfect place to walk and enjoy nature. I would love to bring my grandchildren to play here. I would return ~

This is a beautiful park overlooking the lake and beauty of Coeur d' Alene Resort. The floating dock is great way to see all of the boats in the marina. The views are spectacular and everything is so clean and well manicured. Idyllic, peaceful, and inviting and the fall colors are outstanding!

Beautiful park with gorgeous trees, walking trails and huge play park for kids right on lake CDA. Next to a lake resort where you can take a float plane tour of the area.

It was a great place to spend the day and enjoy the lake. It is close to rentals on the pier so it is convenient to rent paddle boards etc. The stairs that go down into the lake are a great place to sit and hang out without getting sandy. My kids really loved the manmade stream that flows down... More
