Chapelle is to capture the unique character of every vintage. Fine wine production in Idaho began in the 1860s, spurred by French and German immigrants. Indeed, the Pacific Northwest’s first wineries were in Idaho. In 1919, Prohibition shut down the state’s nationally renowned wine industry, but it was revived in the 1970s when wine grapes were again planted in southern Idaho’s Snake River Valley. The winery, founded in 1976, is open seven days a week. Experience the quality of Ste. Chapelle wines through wine tasting. For a $5 fee, our friendly and knowledgeable staff will guide you through a tasting of five wines. Tasting fee waived for our Friends of the Vineyard wine club members. Experience the Excitement of the Grape Crush... During fall harvest, visitors can experience the excitement of the grape crush in full swing. At other times, guides take guests through the cellars for an up-close tour of the processes of fermentation, aging and bottling. Beautiful, Elegant Facility & Award Winning Wines... Ste Chapelle Winery is a collage of fun, knowledgeable staff, award-winning wines and a beautiful, elegant facility. Our facility hosts weddings, corporate events, auctions, parties and meetings. Private Events - for additional information please complete our short "Request for More Event Information form" on our website, or contact our Hospitality Coordinator. The Ste. Chapelle Winery is the perfect getaway to host a memorable affair! Tours by appointment only, please call to make arrangements. « less

Though I don't drink wine, I wanted to pick some up for some family members who I knew would most likely enjoy it. I appreciated the fact that they had some pop, as it was a hot day on my visit. Anyway, the place was just gorgeous inside and out. The vines were planted along the hillside against the yellow... More

On a recent trip to The Boise, ID area, my husband and I were exploring towns west of Boise , and wanted to visit a winery, after learning there is some good wine grown in this area. It was after 4 pm when I called Ste. Chapelle Winery, and the lovely staff welcomed us to come by, even though we... More

One of the few Wine tasting places in Caldwell ID that looks good and has really good tasting Reds, my favorite is the 'red table' almost on par with california wines, the wine is less at local stores per bottle, and the tasting fee is a tad high, but the view is great and the wine is good.

Great view and tasting room. Friendly staff. Wines were average except for the Grenache which is an extra $1 to taste and a bottle is $30...but totally worth it. Tastings are 5 for $5 and you keep the glass.

Stopped by for the Valentine's Day wine tasting and had a great experience. Don't know a lot about wine and Jamie was awesome. She explained about the different wines, grapes, flavors, etc. Wines were very good. Bought a couple different types. Fun place to spend an hour.

We saw the sign on the way by and went to turn around but found the entrance instead. We drink this wine anyway so to be able to see the winery was extra special. Beautiful neat place. The land is immaculate. The lady inside (forgot her name) was so very nice & helpful. You get to sample wine for a... More

This is the last stop of our trip, wine country in the Snake River Valley. What a spectacular setting and beautiful building. You can taste 6 wines for $5 and you keep the glass! Their wine is inexpensive as well. Worth the stop.
