I played at Camel's Back Park when I was young. The sand dunes were THE BEST!!! Now, it's the starting point to many many mountain biking (and running) trails. This is where we park all spring and summer long to hit Kestral, Bucks, Sidewinder, Hulls Gulch, Corrals and many more... it's amazing and close to downtown Boise. -This is also... More

Great place! Super awesome vibe. Good place to hike the foothills and grab a bite. Lots of activities for kiddo's in the summer and super close to the Foothills Learning Center which is a must to take little ones too.

Go straight up the hill or take the easier trail to the top, either way the ridge line offers a wonderful panoramic view of Idaho's capital city - as long as it's not obscured by an inversion in the winter or wild fire smoke in the summer.

I walk to and around Camel's Back Park daily. It's so nice to see the tight rope walkers, families, tennis players, cross country team, and little soccer players enjoying the day. In September the Hyde park Street Fair features bands and vendors. They recently added an outdoor "fitness" center to next to the play ground. Hike the hill for a... More

There's an extremely steep path you can take... if you are 12 or under OR just crazy. My family took the alternate path which winds it's way up and around the "Camel's Back" -- it's just gorgeous at the top as you can see over the city and also the foothills behind you! Quick drive from the heart of downtown... More

This is a great park for a picnic with beautiful surroundings! There are lots of hiking trails in the hills throughout this park with a great view of Boise! There are bike trails and playgrounds too! This was perfect place for a family outing!

Park has a lot of playground equipment for under 10 and work out stations for adults, restrooms and shaded park area. Trails lead around the Camel's Back to the top of the large hill to show great views of the Valley, downtown Boise and beyond. Short hike with stairs on slightly steep trail; difficult steep trail directly straight up the... More

This was a very easy hike that provided beautiful views once you reached the summit. The best part is the short drive out of the city to feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere.

Great view of the "City of Trees." Go in the wintertime for some fast-paced sledding. Go in the springtime to see the city in bloom.
