The trail was steep but walkable. From the top, the viewport he city and surrounding hills and mountains is pretty amazing and beautiful. At the bottom of the hill is quite a large playground complex, which is very extensiveandvery attractive. It was in fact, so attractive to our grand baby that it was not without many tears and complaints that... More

Kids love this park because there's so much for them to do. There's plenty of things for them to play on and lots of grassy area to play sports. There's benches for the parents to sit on while the kids play.

Yes, it is a hiking trail you see. You will have to walk, and walk uphill. Not steeply or with any difficulty, but you have to climb to the vista. You cannot drive up, but it is worth the effort. Bring water, Boise is really desert country and this trail is on the southern exposure.

The most over hyped park in the whole US. North Enders get all uppity about how cool it is, but it's just a hill. That is very eroded. And a swing set and some grass. The Ridge to Rivers trails behind it are awesome. And not nearly as crowded.

We take all our visitors to Camel's Back. The climb to the top is manageable with all sorts of footware. View of capital building and beyond is magical. Great Play area, tennis course, miles of hiking and biking trails start from this great spot. Beautiful sunsets. Minutes from downtown.

Fun climb up the aptly named hill. Great views of the city and everything else. Nice playground. Plenty of room to run around.

Climb up as high as you can to see beautiful views of the city and surrounding areas. The kids enjoyed the playground and also running up and down the vast hills.

Great place to take a date to watch the sunset, and take in the scenery. Close and easy for everyone.

Good place to picnic with your kids and pets then walk trails and ride the bike paths. Only it does get crowded every weekend during warm weather. Has some table but they go early, traffic can be a problem. But worth a visit to see if its for you.
