Nice view

Great view of the "City of Trees." Go in the wintertime for some fast-paced sledding. Go in the springtime to see the city in bloom.

Excellent place to walk and enjoy the views! Best to experience in the spring and fall when the colors are at their best and the grasses have not dried out.

This park is a lot of fun! It hosts a lot of varied events during the summer and offers quite the challenge for a brave hiker (VERY steep incline up a hill that overlooks the city of Boise). If you can brave the hike up, the view makes up for the sweat! Great playground area for the kiddos, too!

The best way to get to know a city and the lay of the land is to put on your comfy shoes and get walking. Camel Back Park and the summit trails behind it are an explorers dream come true. We started our hike at 7:30 am. There is a rope to help you up the "camel's hump" as the... More

All of the fun components for children were there: climbing and swinging equipment, a big hill, and plenty of room to run around. A great neighborhood place for parents to socialize while the kids let off steam. Within walking distance of Hyde Park and ice cream afterwards!

Set at the base of the foothills it is fun to watch all the activity going on. There is a terrific play set for the little ones, big hills to climb, mountain bikers, walkers and dogs to watch. Lots of green grass, not tons of shade, and it is quite hot at time, but then it is Boise! Great place... More

Many joggers and bikers meet here each weekend morning. The trails start there. It would be nice to have another set of restrooms on the far east end, other side of the tennis courts. Tennis, Volleyball and kids tot lot are all active. Small area in SW corner has BBQ and tables. Would be nice to see another BBQ and... More

My family and I went here to go hiking but spent a majority of the time at the playground. My daughter didn't want to leave! She had so much fun!

We LOVE this park! Huge playground for kids with lots of different types of equipment, massive grassy areas for football, frisbees, and kite-flying, trees around the edges of the park for shade, tightrope walking, etc., tennis courts, picnic tables, and access to miles of hiking trails for all types of abilities and ages. And, the Hyde Park Street Fair in... More

This isn't a gorgeous park (it isn't full of flowers and with lots of trees) - but the hike up is strenuous and fun if you are near downtown. And if you get to the top the view is great of Boise and the hills.
