My son and his wife came for Valentine's day and went to Bogus because she is a great skier. They weren't too impressed and said it was really "Bogus".

Went skiing with colleage from 10am-1pm then drove back to airport to catch the 3 pm flight out of Boise. $49 day ticket, but for as low as $225 the local can get the whole next year season pass + the rest of the year. Small mountain but got high speed quad so just pray for the snow! What can... More

Very happy with Bogus Basin, the ski program for the kiddos, and couldn't be happier with the mountain's staff. Thank you!

Snow conditions vary but overall it's pretty good for as close to the city as it is. Roads up are a little dicey though. Great night skiing. Great price with deal from Jackson's.

I think its awesome to have a reserved time to go tubbing. All ski resorts should have this. it makes it less chaotic and more relaxed time. :0)

This little 'hidden' ski resort is just 16 miles up the mountain from Boise, Idaho. There are times when Bogus has better snow than others, that shall remain non mentioned, but very famous.

Although there is a link on the Bogus Basin website... no one comments on the yurt!? We stayed President's Day weekend for two nights with the family and it was great. The website instructions over-prepare you for your visit, but it is the warmest winter camping we've ever done. The views are fantastic, and you have first access to all... More

If you have a motorcycle it's worth the trip up to Bogus, ok, even a car ride is worth it! on the way up or down you encounter bicyclists who are also on the road so keep a sharp eye out for them, but otherwise it's a beautiful place to visit. While up there we had the opportunity to order... More

Bogus Basin is one of the best kept secrets in the country! It is extremely family friendly with tons of classes and programs for the kids. Lots of fun events and groups for everyone. I have been skiing for 45 years and can ski about anything - and Bogus does not disappoint. Lots of good off trail runs if you... More

Bogus is a great local place to ski with 1800 ft vertical, great place for kids to learn to ski, and very very economical with season pass about $230 if you buy it in the spring. If you're coming from a long way away and can ski really well, I'd probably go to Sun Valley or Tamarack. Sun Valley is... More
