My wife and I went here not knowing what to expect. We liked how the trail wrapped around the side of the mountain and was scenic. There was a lot of nature to take in compared to our hometown. I would recommend a camera, hiking shoes, a mountain bike, and sun screen. This can be the better part of a... More

Great outdoor adventure. Haven't tried skiing yet, but I can't wait for this season. It's a short trek from Boise and really nice for riding a bike around various trails and you can't beat the price. The food is a bit spendy, but it is geared towards tourists. It's truly one of Idaho's must visit attractions.

Great ski resort just a short trip up the hill from Boise. About 30 minute drive up the hill from downtown Boise. The snow hasn't been that great the last few years but hoping for a banner year in 2015! Great place to get out of the inversion in the winter and make some turns on decent snow. Highly recommended... More

This ski resort is close to Boise out the end of Harrison Blvd. and is a wonderful place to ski. Visiting Bogus in the summer is a different fee...The views are spectacular!

I went in March and most of the snow was gone but I did enjoy the drive up and the views were nice. I think this looked more like the everyday man's resort or one the locals would frequent. It did not seem very elaborate or difficult to ski.

In the spring and summer take a hike and end up with a stellar view! You can play Frisby golf, take the chairlift up with your bike and ride some of the best downhill trails, or just roam around and check out nature's offerings. Grab a bite to eat and a cold bevvie at the lodge too. I've had their... More

Amazing view from our condominiums that we rented. So much to do and see. You name it. Hike, bike, run, walk, ski. Do it all at bogus.

We just returned from a hike "Around the Mountain." This is a fairly new trail around Shafer Butte and a little over 10 miles long. Some great views and quite a variety of eco-systems on this trail. Several water sources for your dogs too. Don't hike it on weekends though, too many bikes.

Very dependent on the weather for ski conditions that do not always cooperate making skiing sketchy at times. Apprehensive to purchase a season pass due to uncertainty of future. Road to area awful and unsafe with too many teenagers driving the switchbacks and thinking they are immortal. A tram from bottom to top would be absolutely fabulous.

Went up just once this year and had fantastic snow. Of course that was of no doing of bogus other than showing up and opening its doors. But the runs were well groomed and you can't beat the proximity to Boise.
