It's mostly like any other state capital building. It's nice to visit in the summer when it's hot out.

The Idaho Capitol Building was beautiful! The interior was perfectly lit and the white marble was so cool. The photo opps in this building are endless.

I am so amazed by this building! It is beautiful! I would recommend taking the time to just walk inside. There are many interesting things to look at that could take more time, but it is definitely worth just taking a peek at.

It is a must to stop by and take at least a picture with the snow capped mountains behind it. A walk around on the grounds is nice. It is located steps, away from great restaurants and downtown Boise

It's a beautiful building that has recently undergone restoration. Typical of your state Capitol building with the house chamber, senate chamber, and offices of the executive branch. The rotunda is also pretty neat.

This is an impressive building. The white marble is fantastic and the view of the dome from the rotunda is breathtaking. In addition to the art and history, the lawmakers of Idaho can be approached relatively easily as their offices are more or less concentrated in public areas in the new underground addition. Watch committee meetings, legislative sessions and meet... More

Inside much more impressive than outside. Capitol staff extremely friendly, helpful and love their state.

If you want to see a beautifully restored piece of Idaho History, don't miss this gorgeous attraction in downtown Boise. It really is worth a visit. The interior is adorned with some of the most prestigeous marble you've ever seen. Tons of history to go along with it. If you want to see where most of the political corruption Idaho... More

I took my 3 year old niece to the state capitol building one afternoon and we had a fabulous time. While she did not understand, nor appreciate the architecture or educational aspects she had a blast! We spent hours climbing the stairs and peeking into various legislature rooms. We laid on the floor in the very bottom of the atrium... More

We rode the elevator to the top and than took our time coming down. Interesting the huge pillars look like marble - but instead an old Italian faux method was used to make them look like marble.
