The Boise State Capitol Building is one of the most beautiful buildings we have ever seen. It stands majestically in downtown Boise. I highly recommend seeing this beauty.

Why not get to know your senators? Check out the Boise state capitol. It's a beautiful building, and it has many gorgeous pictures, too. Learn some history!

Be sure to go inside the Capitol Building. It is very beautiful with lots of light streaming into it. Stop into the Governors office and see the Ceremonial Office and talk with the Governor.

I've been to nearly all state capitols and of course if you are in Boise you should see theirs as well, but it's fairly ordinary among capitols. It was easy to find parking nearby.

We visited the capitol on a Saturday afternoon so the offices were all closed and locked. It's an impressive building, but probably no more so than any other state capital building. The visitor center on the ground floor was interesting. The touted wood carvings on one of the upper floors were boring.

I stopped by while in this part of town. You can stop by the gift shop and get a tour book for free, which tells you what you'll see on each floor. The hallway floors and staircases are all made of marble, and it is very beautiful. The building is not too big, so it is easy to walk around.... More

If you "collect" state capitols like we do, this may be one of the last you get to but it is definitely worth going" out of the way" to see. You enter through the new underground "garden level" on the East or South sides and the first thing you notice is the glorious white and gray marble everywhere – floors... More

This building is wonderful. It has a beautiful garden in front of it, and montains behind it. A must see in Boise. it is very nice to walk on the Capital Boulevard and see the Capitol Building and montains from various standpoints.

A visit to the state capitol building in Boise is well-worth your time. A capitol restoration project completed in 2010 at a cost of $120 million has made this building shine! The original exterior has been renovated; the interior has been given lots of love including refinished marble and wood flooring, upgraded lighting, hardware restoration and a new passenger elevator....
