Just a walk in the park

Beautiful, great smells of trees. Lots of goose poop on the grass, but a beautiful walk. Just lovely.

Our kids loved this park! It is designed as a bird sanctuary and our kids couldn't get enough. They loved the families of ducks and geese. We even saw a couple of beavers in the pond on the west side of the park. Great display with a huge tree stump and marked tree rings that highlight the history of the... More

My husband and I love to walk in this park and have been doing so for years. It is so serene and beautiful. It's the perfect location for photographs as you encounter quite a few people taking pictures of the scenery and family photos as well professional photographers taking Senior portraits, Wedding and Engagement photos. We love to see the... More

A perfect spot to soak up some nature-time. If you are biking the Greenbelt make sure to include this park which borders the Belt.

Nestled against Boise's Bench, this nature hideaway is a place of serenity and beauty. Joe Albertson, the founder of Albertson's Supermarkets, built this park for his wife. Wildlife and hundreds of different tree species. There is a cut away of an old growth pine, that dates back to early AD. Be sure to take the time to visit this park.... More

Started out by feeding our leftovers to the geese, ducks and seagulls near the entrance of the park. They were some what friendly so kids really enjoyed it. Next stop was the playground which kids had a ball, lots swings and things the climb and slide down. Although lots of kids, there is plenty room for everyone. The park has... More

We stopped by this park to play Ingress and really enjoyed our stroll along the paths and river. We saw lots of geese, a few turtles, and some deer and had a great time.

This is a beautiful park to visit or spend the day. The geese are all over the park so children get a kick out of it. An abundance of shade trees and a great walking path, picnic areas. If you are traveling though (especially with kids) take the time to drive, walk or run on the paths. It is worth... More

This park has a lot of portals for playing Ingress, there is also a good amount of wildlife in this park, from turtles to birds of all kinds, squirrels and even deer. There is a nice path around the park and it is a nice place to take pictures also.

We love going here! Today was a great day for viewing the deer. We saw at least 8 deer today It is a great place to just enjoy the peace and quiet and to just get away! It is great for walking at a good pace to exercise. Once everything starts to bloom and the water is refilled it will... More
