Kathryn Albertson Park is a great place to have a shaded outdoor wedding ceremony. I filmed one there and it was beautiful.

I love this park, its relaxing and a wonderful quiet place to spend time. I was a bit disappointed this past Sunday to find someone there with their dog off leash playing ball and to see the park patrol do nothing about it. Otherwise I think this is the best park in boise

This is a beautiful park for a stroll while you are in Boise. It is well kept and small enough for an hour or so walk. The only down-side is that you can hear the highway from the park which is unfortunate. It is a long walk from downtown, but about a 5-10 drive.

Nice relaxing park to walk and view wildlife. Also a great spot for taking pictures. Pretty park to visit in all seasons.

The park was very green, lush and nicely landscaped. Near the fountain/waterfall it feels like a respite from the town, but the rest of it is tainted by the noise of the cars on the road. However, it does fade with the natural beauty surrounding you.

I love this park. It has a lot of species of birds and I have even seen deer in there. No dogs allowed during mating season.

Kathryn Albertson Park is not too far outside of Downtown Boise. It is a beautiful park just to walk through and enjoy the scenery in. During the cooler evening hours you are more than likely to see deer grazing in the grass or walking through the shrubbery. The ponds are filled with Red Slider Turtles, Ducks, and Canadian Geese. Great walking trails and ponds - made for a really nice, peaceful break in the day. Good option for a picnic as well.

Kathryn Albertson Park is located in the heart of Boise. Named for the wife of the famous founder of Joe Albertson's grocery stores. Kathryn was well-known for her donations to local interests. The park sits just below their home off of Americana Blvd. One of the nicest parts of the park is the bird life and natural marsh settings. Bald... More
