Beautiful park surrounded by nature in the middle of the city. A must see if you visit Boise. Take a stroll and catch up on reading next to one of ponds. Boise takes great pride in this park, and it's great for events as well (standing only, only negative thing I can think for this park, and it's to preserve... More

A wonderful close in-town feature for our City, if you like to walk in a beautifully designed park with ponds , mixed foliage and floral displays....originally, presented as a gift from Joe Albertson of grocery fame, to Boise in honor to his wife, Kathryn. No playgrounds or soccer fields to be found here.....just natural beauty and plenty of quiet....its GREAT!!

As out-of-town visitors we stumbled onto this place last year. We were passing through Boise on a Saturday afternoon had a little time to kill so we went back again. We only watched the people floating down the river but everyone seemed to be having a great time.

A wonderful park for quiet walking and also bird watching. The area is protected so there are restrictions on dog walking during bird nesting and fledging times. One of my favourite Boise parks.

This park is WELL worth the trip. Beautiful paved walk paths are laid out throughout the place. Many many great places for pictures and reflection. Wildlife is pretty cool, too!

Always fun to just sit and watch the frizbee golfers, children and the river. We usually include this area to stop as we bike the greenbelt. This is a beautiful park for all to enjoy.

This park was designed by a European designer, and it shows--it's more like the beautiful parks in Europe that I've visited than any I've seen in the United States. Truly magnificent --and peaceful, even though it's surrounded by city. Wildlife is abundant! Fall is the loveliest time of all, as the colors are spectacular!

I love this park- so pretty. Many photographers use it as a backdrop, and many people use it for weddings. It's a gorgeous park and great for photography. Much more secluded then the park across the street.. Birds are awesome here
