This park has a lot of portals for playing Ingress, there is also a good amount of wildlife in this park, from turtles to birds of all kinds, squirrels and even deer. There is a nice path around the park and it is a nice place to take pictures also.

This is one of the most beautiful parks in the city of Boise. During the summer and fall there are numerous activities going on at the park. Families come out for a day of grilling and playing. Hot Balloons use it as a launch pad in the fall. It is the finishing point for rafting the Boise River. It is... More

We love going here! Today was a great day for viewing the deer. We saw at least 8 deer today It is a great place to just enjoy the peace and quiet and to just get away! It is great for walking at a good pace to exercise. Once everything starts to bloom and the water is refilled it will... More

This park is one of the true "gems" of the Boise park system. A very generous gift of land and the cost of improvements made by the Albertson family turned a horse pasture into a beautiful park just a short walk from our Boise River, our greenbelt and Julia Davis Park. The park has nice walking paths, "gazebos" arbors, ponds,... More

This is a walking park with birds and wildlife. No fire pits or picnic tables or sports fields. The spring blossom is gorgeous and all the water birds are great. Come back in the Fall or wow colors. Come in the summer for a cool evening stroll. Watch the mule deer in the winter snow.

Great place to watch birds of all sorts at an idyllic oasis in the heart of the city. Saw a yellow- headed blackbird here years ago and have been looking for one ever since. Turtles, too!

Popular spot for photos and weddings. Beautiful all seasons. I love all the wildlife, but beware there is a lot of goose poop!

This is a great park for a walk nearly any time of day. I have enjoyed seeing a variety of wildlife as well as the variety of paths, pond areas, and vegetation. This park has a number of great spots for portraits, both casual and more formal, too. The key is to make an exploration trip to the park to... More
