Cool animals very uninformative stay aside from a couple, missed several encounters due to this. Still fun even in off season!

This is an easy stop-over for anyone walking the greenbelt, visiting BSU, or enjoying Ann Morrison Park area.

in November, we showed before they opened; it was an easy walk from our hotel. Cool, but the sun started shining, so we saw most of the animals out trying to sun themselves. Favorites were the Tigers, red pandas( so CUTE), fox, Sloth Bears, lions, giraffes... For a "smaller" zoo, it is really nice and have taken inappropriate "winter" animals... More

As a family we really enjoy visiting the Boise Zoo and seeing the animals. Our favorite exihibits are the Tigers, lions and monkeys. Afterwards we enjoy dinner downtown. One another great thing to do in Boise!

We like the zoo. It's not the best Boise attraction, but it's fun enough. Thursdays are a good day to go because they have a discount... But on beautiful-weathered-Thursdays expect quite a crowd for that reason.

Animals appeared well cared for. Feed the giraffe for another $3.00 - what fun to see his long-long tongue reach out and take the lettuce leaves from my hands. Lots of baby animals to feed and pet. Ride the carousel, $1.00! The penguin exhibit was fascinating - sit on the floor to watch the penguins swim for best view. Zoo... More

What a great place to bring the kids, our favorites are the Prairie dogs and the butterfly exhibit. A must see when you visit.

Whenever I visit Boise, I make sure to stop by the zoo for an afternoon. Still one of the best zoos I've been zoo. You can picnic there, relax, take in the sights. I've never felt rushed and I appreciate the cleanliness of the zoo.

Spent a long time wandering around the zoo. It was a little hard to find using the local maps and wandering around, but once we got there, it was well worth it. Really enjoyed seeing the variety of animals they had there, and some I had never heard of previously. Would be a great day out for kids.

We had a fun couple of hours at the Boise Zoo. It is in the Julia Davis Park area of Boise so we were able to see the different museums, park, and zoo and park just once. We wandered through the nice Boise park on a mid week somewhat hot day end of August 2015. There were a lot of... More
