Even though this isnt a huge zoo, it is a great place to take your children. We enjoyed all of the animals and the big variety of exotic animals that they have.

It's a medium sized, medium impressionable zoo. You can make a trip through the whole zoo within an hour. It's worth the money and is a great time-killer if you have smaller children.

Wonderful improvements in the recent years. Trained tour staff willing to stop to talk about the animals. Regular events and camps. Great family time!

We found this zoo to be a good size, easily seen in a day. There was a sloth bear encounter where my daughter got to feed the bear ($3). Also, in the afternoon you have the chance to feed the giraffes (also $3). There's a tiny carousel there ($1) and a place to feed goats and sheep (quarter for a... More

We visited the zoo recently and it was a little disappointing for me. I think the grounds around the exhibits need some clean up and beautification to make the place more appealing to visitors. The animals cages also seemed too small for many of them.

With 2 boys (ages 8 and 10) Zoo is typical zoo --- but not really that adaptive to today's society. It was a lot of birds and animals that aren't really that different to see in small pens or cage environment. The larger animals to see (lions) are hard to see. It wasn't that clean or "fresh." Feeding the giraffes... More

Lots to see in a small area. Great for small kids who don't want to walk a lot. Plenty of shade for hot days.

I find this zoo too small and I feel sorry for the animal's cramped spaces. It is neat to be so close the different animals in each exhibit, but they seem depressed to me.

All the "exhibits", were in a state of depression. Most were sleeping. I guess if you were stuck in a hotel all your life, you'd feel like that as well. No hunting, no survival skills needed, just lay back and let the humans deal with it all. I guess if I was about 5 I'd probably enjoy it, but I'm... More
