Veteran's park is on the Boise River, it is easy to get to from all over. There are picnic tables, lots of shade trees and a hop skip and jump to the Boise Green Belt and the Boise River. There are some things to look at, Veteran's Memorial and Wake Island Memorial. There are bathrooms as well.

It's a very nice park, spacious and well kept. Good playground, lots of open space and some picnic areas. It's right next to one of the prettiest areas of the greenbelt walking trails. There is a great playground for the kids, lots of placed to have picnics, good restroom facilities, and tons of green grass. The only downside is... More

Lots of grass and open space. Not in the best part of town so you do see a lot of undesirables just hanging around.

veterans park has a reasonable playground and is fairly well maintained. it has an older rundown ampitheatre that is interesting. the best feature however are the hiking paths that it connects to. you have ample parking and direct access to the greenbelt and scenic trails along the boise river. this is a great spot to start a bike ride into...
