My wife and I attended a wedding last Saturday. The reception was held at Zoo Boise in a room adjacent to the Lion enclosure. We had several windows with full views of this enclosure. It was unique to see these animals by all the "party animals" attending the wedding reception. The Zoo Boise staff was wonderful and nearby to attend... More

Really good place for the family or self. Great location in the heart of the city. Make sure to visit the zoo. Well run and well kept. Big trees and lots of shade. The amphitheater can host some really good events. Check first to make sure it going to be your "crowd". More

This park has lots of open area with mature shade trees & a great duck / goose pond where you can rent paddle boats in the summer. The zoo is inside the park and the Boise river greenbelt runs along the side of the park. Good place to enjoy nature close to downtown Boise. More

This show is always the weekend after labor day and is sponsored by the Boise Art Museum. Approx. 260 exhibitors through out the park around the museum with a wide variety of high quality hand made items. Food booths are scattered through out the park as well as entertainment. This is definitely a family and dog friendly event. A portion... More

The Rose Garden is break taking and the greens are perfect for picnicing or family sports. The park is surrounded by the Art museum, zoo, and idaho and black history museums, so you can... More
