Wonderful city park with great location by the Boise Art Museum and Zoo Boise. Multitude of uses throughout the year, including Art in the Park in September. Includes a playground for young children and tennis courts. the greenbelt runs along the side of it and Friendship Bridge leads over to Boise State University.

This park is a must do in Boise. The greenbelt skirts the edge by the river and there is a lot you can do here. The Boise Zoo is right in the middle and there are also tennis courts, horseshoe courts, covered picnic areas and a great children's playground area. Spectacular rose garden in the summer and the Boise Art... More

It is a clean and fun park. We liked the fountains, the ponds with all the ducks and geese. We like walking by the Boise River there and watching people float the river in inner tubes, and we played Frisbee golf. Great for the family.

Not too crowded and great for a morning run. Nice fountain and landscaped area. A lot of geese so watch out.

What a beautiful place! Went to the Discovery Center and then Zoo Boise. Saw the rose garden but didn't go to it as it was triple digits the day we were there.

Beautiful park near the river (obstructed views). Rose garden is modest, but well done. The Boise Art Museum is a gem. The history museum was closed for renovations. We did not go to the zoo.

I was in awe over all the variety of roses in the rose garden. We walked barefoot among the roses enjoying the plush grass - a novelty in heat stricken NC!

A breath taking show of roses of all varieties and splendor. Though the park was larger that than and had other interesting features, we centered on the rose garden. There were some old varieties that I have not seen in a while, along with newer specimens. Do spend the time with your camera and take the time to smell the... More

This park has EVERYTHING a park could have. Whether it is a quiet afternoon to sit along the river and read or a family bbq, this park is perfect. You are in the heart of the city without the sound of heavy traffic or crowds of people. You can bike along the river parallel to a gorgeous university campus or... More
