The building looks ok on the outside; but go inside and there is real beauty with the marble and architectural design features. There is a very short history of Idaho and photos of politicans, judges and other older white men. The bathrooms are open to the public.

Gotta go inside. The rotunda is a surprise . . Great stone craftsmanship. 4 Levels. The public balcony of the house and senate chambers are open to the public. No signs, but the doors are open. . .its a good experience to sit in this space by yourself. Craftsmanship of the interior is a must see . . Extremely well... More

The view whether it is day or night is cool. But at night, how it is lit is better while walking around downtown.

We took the self guided tour through 5 floors of the Capitol. It is very majestic and informative. We watched a video about the capitol and visited the gift shop. The man at the gift shop was very friendly and interested in where everyone came from. It was a nice 90 minute tour.

I loved the architecture of this place. The outside is beautiful, and one of the most memorable places I saw while visiting Boise. Only viewed from outside.

This capitol has that same "look" as the US Capitol and many of the state capitols in that same design, and it is worth the visit. It is not so large that it is hard to visit quickly, but large enough and stately enough to truly be a treasure. We were there when both the House and Senate doors were... More

You always see the blue turf when watching Boise play at home. We had to go see for ourselves and check out the souvenier shop. The stadium is right there just a few blocks from downtown. We drove all through the streets of the campus. Beautiful.

We watched and informative video that gave us the background about the building and then were able to visit the house and senate chambers and the govenor"s office. The woman in the gift shop was especially helpful and suggested how to best tour the building.
