Our brewery currently runs a 15-barrel brewing system and offers four year-round beers: Payette Pale Ale, Outlaw IPA, Mutton Buster Brown Ale and North Fork Lager. In 2012, we made Idaho brewing history when we introduced Payette Pale Ale and Mutton Buster in cans. Be on the lookout for even more choices of canned beer in the future. In the meantime, you can find our beer in bars, restaurants, and retail locations including grocery and specialty stores throughout Idaho. We chose the name Payette because it fits the way we live and work. Francois Payette was a French Canadian trapper whose name and memory is enshrined among numerous Idaho landmarks. The name has since become synonymous with an adventurous spirit that pervades Idaho's year-round outdoor lifestyle.

In a recent e-mail update from Boise Beer Buddies, I saw that Payette Brewing Company offers tours of the brewery on certain dates. We arrived on a Thursday around 5:30. We bought Pistolero Porter beers and waited for the tour to start. The beer was great! We had a tour guide named Jamey. We were the only ones on the... More

Small and hidden away but always a great place. Not much seating but the beer is awesome. You can usually watch then brew and the brew masters are usually around to chat and tell you about the great beers. Prices are excellent. On weekends you can mostly find a food truck outside-no food served in bar area. Be sure to... More

Got a sampler and a few beers. Great variety and all great! Great casual stop for a beer, no food on site.

Really good time and delicious beer! We shared the sampler and then ended up ordering our favorites. The guy tending bar had his hands full with groupon people the evening we were there. But, he did a great job of taking care of everyone.

Great brewery and tasting room. We hit it later in the evening and people were still flowing in. Great IPA but don't miss their other offerings. Located on Chinden ave. which I have renamed Brewery way.

My sister was visiting us in Boise from Bend, OR, so we decided to hop over to the new brewery in town, Payette. Right as we walked in, we almost turned right around and walked out on account of how loud it was inside. we approached the bar and noticed there was only one person working the entire place. We... Great local beer. Go to the tasting room at the brewery or look for it at most local restaurants on tap! The Idaho Pale Ale is a winner as well. These guys have a passion for beer.

Stopped in after trying the Outlaw IPA at a local restaurant and what can I say I am now hooked on this place! The atmosphere was filled with good people who love a good beer, and a great staff who was friendly and happy to have us. We will definitely go back!

Love the beers! Great service. Great atmosphere! I came here on a night they were doing a silent art auction with some local music in the next room, hope there's more events like this in the future!
