The Greenbelt is Boise. We always take our visitors to see the sites. You can go for a short time or spend the day and will never be disappointed and always see something new and wonderful.

It was a nice walk after dinner. Some traffic noise but still had a nice time. Well lit and felt safe with boyfriend at my side.

Me and my husband went on several walks down here with our dogs, it's a nice area to walk and jog. It does get pretty busy at times. So if you like a peaceful walk with not a lot of kids/people around you have to avoid going there when the Univ. gets their breaks. and weekends.

Enjoyable scenic bike ride along the River, lush landscape, well maintained, marked, paved trail. Bridges and underpasses kept us off the main streets. We easily traveled 10 miles and enjoyed every bit of it.

The green belt is very nice and you can walk from the business district to the university. It is not lit so I would not recommend walking at night.

If the city of Boise had a gem stone that represents the Green Belt it would be the emerald. The Green Belt is truly a brilliant emerald. I've been to Boise many times and when I have the chance to walk any part of the greenbelt, I do it. A beautifully executed walk/bike path takes you all over and connects seamlessly with parks, restaurants, the downtown area, and the university grounds. A great way to get your fresh air in a charming small city.
