One of my favorite places to be in Boise is on the Green Belt. This path goes so far. It goes through many parks, the BSU campus, over bridges, through tunnels, along the river - so fun and explorable.

What an asset for Boise! so much to see along the greenbelt, and so easy to access from office buildings, college campus, parks, etc. etc. Walk, run, bike, enjoy the things you will see along the way.

Nice walk or some people ride or run here. Didn't venture too far as we were actually at the Riverside Hotel for a brief stay. When we come back to the hotel will come prepared to walk further.

This was a great ride! We rented bikes at a nearby bike shop (they are all over the place) and picked up the trail near the park. Very clean and everyone is friendly.

We walked along path a lot, but didn't have opportunity to bike. We wish there were more opportunities to rent bikes, because we hardly saw any rental places. Boise should have a bike-share program like Madison, Denver, etc. We would have loved to explore more downtown and around BSU by bike over our 5-day stay.

This is a very nice walkway along the Boise River. It is a short walk from downtown and well worth the visit. There were many folks tubing down the river and we hope to do that when the weather is hot in July or August.

The Eagle, Idaho section of the Boise Greenbelt is a wonderful area for citizens and visitors alike! On the North side of the Boise River the Greenbelt extends from Garden City line West to Idaho 44 (State Street). Reid W. Merrill Community Park is about halfway and is a great place for kids. The Greenbelt is safe for joggers, walkers,... More

The Boise Greenbelt has something for everyone. Some of the wildlife found along the trail includes: bald eagles, osprey, herons, Canadian geese, beavers, deer, fox, coyotes, mink, muskrats, raccoons, owls, woodpeckers, numerous song birds, a host of duck varieties including wood ducks and cinnamon teal, and even an occasional mountain lion. You can take this all in on foot by... More
