If the city of Boise had a gem stone that represents the Green Belt it would be the emerald. The Green Belt is truly a brilliant emerald. I've been to Boise many times and when I have the chance to walk any part of the greenbelt, I do it. A beautifully executed walk/bike path takes you all over and connects seamlessly with parks, restaurants, the downtown area, and the university grounds. A great way to get your fresh air in a charming small city.

If I lived in Boise, I would use this trail/path all the time. Well maintained, clean, no "characters", safe, pretty. Good job Boise!

My recent business excursion to Boise, Idaho provided me with an opportunity to experience road biking in Boise for the first time. A regular recreational cyclist, I own three bikes: road, mountain and cruising. I took my road bike to check out the Greenbelt ride to Lucky Peak dam. Starting near the Magic Valley mall, I navigated busy streets (Cole... More

The Greenbelt is a cool paved path along the Boise River to see beautiful scenery, wildlife and people. You can take a long walk or bike ride or a short one, you decide. Highly recommend this if you are in the area.

Boise town is growing up and gets better all the time. Biking on the Greenbelt is a great way to spend a half day. Pack a picnic, bring the dog and the kids and see the beautiful river and parks.

The Greenbelt is a nice place to get outside and exercise in the Boise area. The trail winds on for several miles in both directions and mainly follows the course of the Boise River. I enjoyed walking along the paved trail and taking in the scenery of the river and the wild life, mainly water fowl. When my daughter and... More
