There isn't much to be said that hasn't been said in previous reviews, but this greenbelt truly is a gem. We walked, biked, and kayaked it during our visit. If you launch early enough in the morning (8:30) you can have the entire river to yourself, just the birds and water fowl to accompany you down stream. By 10:30 there... More

The Boise River Greenbelt is a center piece for Boise. It travels for many miles, from Lucky Peak Resevoir down through Boise and past the small town of Eagle. Parts of the greenbelt are on both sides of the river as well. It travels through parks, downtown Boise, rural areas, and is a very relaxing area to spend time. I... More

A lovely paved mostly shady pathway beside the Boise River to walk, bike, jog or roller blade. It runs about 25 miles with plenty of places to park along the way so you can experience as much or as little as you like. It runs through several city parks, beside Zoo Boise, and borders the BSU campus. It also passes... More

The boise River Greenbelt gets better and better! The city is dedicated to the walking/biking paths connecting the reservoir all the way to Star. A new bridge has just been dedicated and more miles are in the works. This goes right through the heart of the city, and is a shady, waterside respite from the cares of the day.

Family biking, rollerblading, and running trip down the Green Belt was great. Great place to exercise along the river or just take a stroll.

Walk or bike. Kids, no kids. Couples, friends or a quiet walk alone. This is one of Boise's awesome features. I especially like to walk it in the spring.

The best thing I did during our week-long trip in Boise was to rent a bicycle from our downtown hotel and explore the Green Belt. What a treasure and the folks in Boise know it! It goes for miles on either side of the Boise River, through lush green parks, meadows, the university and golf courses, and it is just... More
