Rent a bicycle and go! We rode for miles down the river, stopping at several parks along the way. Great, relaxing way to spend the afternoon. More

I walk along the greenbelt around Julia Davis Park and the University. Walking along the river is always calming. You walk forever and it is always cool even on hot days. More

The weather was near-perfect this past weekend, and we like biking so decided to rent some bikes and cruise around along the Boise River Greenbelt. What a nice, relaxing, enjoyable experience. We went quite a ways down (to the Warm Springs golf course) and the weather was perfect... some coolness wafting up off the (raging, flooded) river waters to offset... More

The greenbelt is flooded in several places right now, so it's not much fun for biking. It's a great ride any other time, beautiful views and it's always cooler by the river. Can be a bit congested on the weekends, but it's good to see people outside so I won't complain. More

Whether you're going for a short walk from one of the downtown hotels, or you're a local looking for an enjoyable multi-mile bike ride, the Boise Greenbelt is the place to head. Running alongside the Boise River it's a wonderful piece of nature right through the middle of Boise. Definitely worth visiting. More

Boise is a very recreational city and visiting the greenbelt is one of the best things to do on the weekends. You can tube down the river in the summertime via Barber park. You can bike/walk the paths on either side of the river. You can fish in many of the areas upstream away from the crowds. By the parks... More

The boise greenbelt is the jewel in our city's crown. There are distinct areas that vary from protected nature preserve, to white water parks, elaborate monuments, to cool shady parks......Just walk it ! More
