I had read so much of the Boise Greenbelt in preparation for my visit here that I made sure to experience it first off. What a beautiful and tranquil trail…I walked portions of it and then decided to rent a bike and ride the whole trail. There are many easy access points to the Greenbelt trail all along its route... Great, free, family fun. My favorite place to take the family is either the Barber Park or Ann Morrison Park area but my favorite place to bike is the Garden City of the Green Belt. I just wished they maintained the path a little better on that side because it truly is some of the prettiest area of the Green... More

Winter, spring, summer, or fall, the Boise Greenbelt is a beautiful place to be. Well maintained throughout the year, it offers a great place to stroll, bike, jog, birdwatch, people watch and just enjoy the beauty of the day!

Last year they installed tire pumps and repair stations along the path which has come in handy on a couple of occasions. During the spring, summer and fall...the... More

Great to walk or bike, really a local treasure - i just wish, for biking, it went all the way to Star, Idaho, instead you have spot you have to go through neighborhoods. Awesome though.

I went with my husband on a delightful afternoon walk. Free and fun. Beautiful view. There are a lot of people with dogs, bikes, etc so be careful.

The greenb belt is something that sets Boise apart from a lot of other cities out there. NY has Central park we have the green belt. It runs along the river and is fantastic. great place to walk, run, bike or just get outside.

This river side trail is well paved and getting better. Many sections are being widened and the pavement improved. The new white water park makes a great stopping point just on the edge of downtown. Watch kayakers and boarders challenge the man made Rapids for a bit the head down a little ways for some good eats along the path.... More
