The Greenbelt is a staple in BoiseI There is so much to do along it recreationally speaking. Bike, rollerblade, run, walk, etc. I rollerbladed this as a child and had a blast. But it is so beautiful and scenic the whole way. There are lots of places with open grass along the Greenbelt to stop and picnic or toss a... More

When walking/running/biking/etc. the Greenbelt, one can easily forgot that they are in a city. This is a true treasure of Boise and provides an escape wherever Boise River runs through the city. There are other fun things to do while on the Greenbelt such as geocaching or playing Ingress.

Live between both greenbelts, paved and unpaved. Great for running, walking wading in the river or taking the dogs for a walk or swim. Well maintained, a true asset to the city.

We took a walk along the green belt in a Sunday evening. We were able to watch surfers and different performances. The walk is easy and paved. I really enjoyed crossing the bridges and seeing the river

We love the green belt. It is one of boise's treasures. We always think of visionaries who invested and developed this lovely route along noise river. A lot of shade in summer, peaceful and beautiful. All kinds of recreation. Highly recommended.

If you visit the Boise area and you want to enjoy the beautiful and accessible walking, running, cycling, bird-watching, awe-inspiring jewel of the Treasure Valley--the greenbelt is your ticket. Following along the beautiful Boise River, the greenbelt meanders through large, beautiful urban parks, past Bronco Stadium, the MK Nature Center and other interesting sites. It also offers lots of great... More

I really like how clear clean and close to the river this is. I like all the groomed side trails as well feels like a flat hike in many places.

I have lived in Boise for over 30 years and the Greenbelt is a very wel traveled and fun activity. Many visitors as well as those of us who live here experience it. The Greenbelt takes you through parks, and our parks our GORGEOUS. You can see beavers fish and on occassion a deer or two!!!

Loved the beauty of the entire area. We did not raft down the river but that looked like fun. We loved walking along the Boise river.
