The 25-mile Boise River Greenbelt is one of Boise's most beloved parks. The tree-lined pathway follows the river through the heart of the city and provides scenic views, wildlife habitat and pedestrian access to many of the city's popular riverside parks. The Greenbelt also serves as an alternative transportation route for commuters.

I multi use path that follows the Boise river. It cuts the edge of the Boise State Campus and runs for miles. Easily accessed and well maintained.

The green belt is the Jewell of The Treasure Valley. It is a 20+ mile paved path along the Boise River. You can walk or ride your bike. This is a must activity to do in Boise.

Excellent for bicycling. I hope they extend it farther. Great way to cross the city without having to contend with traffic. Splendid views of the Boise River.

It was a nice walk after dinner. Some traffic noise but still had a nice time. Well lit and felt safe with boyfriend at my side.

Me and my husband went on several walks down here with our dogs, it's a nice area to walk and jog. It does get pretty busy at times. So if you like a peaceful walk with not a lot of kids/people around you have to avoid going there when the Univ. gets their breaks. and weekends.
