Unlike some greenbelts, this one connects you to most of Boise's main attractions to stadiums to libraries to main parks to downtown.

Wonderful long trail along the river where you can bike. Avoid the weekends as it's crazy busy and a time I have run into people on bikes with dogs on leashes that can run you off the trail.

I loved walking along the greenbelt. It is nice an shady in the summer. There are so many trees. I love seeing the different ways the community seems to enjoy using the greenbelt. It is well maintained with plenty of services along the path.

The greenbelt is clean and well maintained. It has busy times, but don't let the opportunity to breathe in its beauty slip through your fingers...you'll definitely be missing out.

The greenbelt is iconic to all of Boise and surrounding residents! In the spring, it's beautiful...in the summer, it's beautiful...in the fall, it's beautiful.. in the winter, it's cold, but still beautiful! I recently rode my cruiser with my girlfriends on the 24th of January and there were still many people out running, biking and walking their dogs. It's marked... More

what is there to say about the Boise River Greenbelt other than it is amazing. Great trail system that runs through the heart of Boise along the beautiful Boise River. The greenbelt allows for easy access to a number of parks, Zoo Boise, Julia Davis Rose Garden, Boise State Campus and offers a great path to get to Lucky Peak... More

I have been living in Boise since October. At least 5 days a week I am hiking the greenbelt. I am a birder, so I am continually looking to see what is there and what has just showed up. Most of the greenbelt is paved, but ther are stretches that are gravel or dirt. Most of the pathways are for... More

There is a reason this simple path is listed as #1. If you grew up in a city or a suburb, it's honestly something that you wouldn't understand. It really has more of a country feel with a touch of big city infrastructure. What I'm trying to say is, this is literally a path that leads through the heart of... More
