Nice wooded campsite. Very friendly staff, especially at the camp store. The pool is a 1.8 mile hike from the camping area. We stayed here to visit the historic places in the area. The town of Pine Mountain was really nice. Great places to eat and lots of nice shops.

FDR should be your go to in the Pine Mountain area if you like to camp. If tenting or RVing is not for you, rent one of the cool historic CCC cabins. The park provides everything but groceries in the cabins. You will find the cabins and the bath houses to be as clean as a whistle. Exceptions to that... More

We took a former patient and did a self-guided tour of some of the buildings. It starts at the Georgia Hall welcome center, where you can get maps. Tours are also offered week days from 11-2. The warm springs pool was empty, but they have a small area that still has the water running and one can put a hand... More

Next to the Little White House and Pine Mountain/Warm Springs. Great little park for pick-nicks and enjoying the outside. Obviously, you should hit all surrounding venues- Pine Mountain, Warm Sprgs, Litlle White House, Pine Mtn Animal Park. Very convenient from Atlanta.

My wife and I have visited the park twice and though we haven't experienced the entire park yet, Dowdell's Knob is absolutely breathtaking! You can certainly understand why The President enjoyed visiting here so much!

We are a family of 5 with 2 tents (an 8x8 and 8x10). We originally booked a 15ft site hoping to get a better chance at being on the water. When we arrived, we realized both tents would not fit on those sites comfortably and upgraded to site 103, which is on the water and 25ft. It is also a... More

Mountain trails for hiking. Well maintained state park. Scenery was breathtaking. Quiet and peaceful. No "rat race" here.

We purchased the children's map for $2.50 to follow a simple trail - only to find out on the trail the signs are very confusing. We got on the trail at Dow bow and followed it past the airplane crash site -past the elephant rock only to come upon marker 14...still can't figure out how... Yes the trail is marked... More

We rented a cottage(dog friendly) for a couple of nights last week. The cottage was very spacious and well equipped. There is no TV which I see as a bonus but some may not. There are 22 cottages and over 1/2 of them are being totally renovated. This park is very well situated between the Little White House attraction and... More

We rode into this on Saturday when we left the Little White House and were going to the Warm Springs Historical Swimming Pool where FDR swam. There is a nice size lake and seems to be a lot of trails. Looks like they have probably camp during the summer. Seems to be a part of the Polio Rehabilitation center that... More
