I cannot stress enough how much I enjoy Castaway Cay and how I recommend it to anyone lucky enough to go on a Disney cruise. Disney's Private Island Paradise continues to out do itself for me and my family of two young children, and two parents who aren't into or get the "Disney Magic" thing, except while on a Disney... Just returned from a 5-day Disney cruise that included 2 days in Castaway Cay. Being that this is Disney's private island I assumed it would be nice albeit a bit boring. It was more than nice and not at all boring. There are several beaches with ample chairs so that even if you are late getting off the boat you... More

WE took our 4th cruise the 1st week of December. We stopped at Castaway Cay and had a great time with family and friends. Both the Jet Ski rental and the Parasailing trip were excellent. THe place is beautiful and peaceful. We are glad that Disney Cruise Line has this as one of their stops.

Went on a family 3-day Cruise on the Disney Dream from Port Canaveral. Our trip included two stops in the Bahama's. One of which was the ever so beautiful Castaway Cay. This is Disney's own private island. And it is truly perfection. We docked early in the morning. There is so much to do on the island. My husband ran... More

This island is beautiful. We had Cabana #15 and it was a nice and relaxing thing to have. You don’t have to share the beach with anyone but the people who are in the Cabana’s. The BBQ Lunch was really good. The beach was very nice, and the water was as clear as could be and you could see everything.

We visited Castaway Cay in early 2012. Our mediocre trip advisor review was taken down. Only positive reviews are permitted, it seems. I guess that is what happens when you criticize the Mouse/the Man. Bottom line -- Save your money and choose another all-inclusvie vacation. Castaway Cay is nice destination to be sure, but you hit the bottom-of-the-barrel of humanity... More

Traveled to Castaway Cay December 2012 and had a marvelous time. The island is very beautiful, clean, blue water, sandy beaches, and activities for all age groups; more than enough to fill an entire day! Water temps for December were great for those residing in the northern states. Activities include a 5K race, bicycle riding - helmets included, snorkeling, a... More

We went on the Disney Magic in December 2011. We were very excited about embarking on our first cruise with Disney. Overall, it is very nice to take a Disney Cruise. We did the 6 night Eastern Caribbean cruise with stops in St. Maarten and St. Thomas. Castaway Cay was the highlight of the trip. It was so nice to... More

This place is awesome, great layout, free lounge chairs. No locals to hound you for tips. I have no complaints at all. Disney does their private island Disney style. I've been to Royal Cariibean's private island and it does not compare.
