The island is beautiful..we just had a lazy day on the beach..the food was served picnic--buffet style on the island, and was very delish. We rented aqua trikes on the beach..what a workout! I wouldn't go in February again..the water was kinda chilly..but definately in the spring or fall!

On our short Disney cruise, Castaway Cay made it all worth it to escape the winter weather for a day filled with turquoise blue waters and gentle breezes. My husband did the Backcountry Fishing excursion and was not disappointed. The food at the pavilion was typical BBQ fare. The transportation to the various locations was ideal for travelers. I would... More

Amazing. Perfect. Stunning. Wonderful. All words describe the absolutely perfect Castaway Cay. We spent the day on the beach.. part of the day down where the little water park was.. which was not overly crowded and a lot of fun, had the barbeque lunch and spent the rest of the day on the other part of the beach swimming and... Went to Castaway Cay for a port visit. Weather was quite windy, but the Captain hauled butt during the night and was able to dock in the wee hours of the morning. Yay! Most of the island adventures were cancelled due to windy conditions, but we had a great time. The water was a little chilly, but the kids enjoyed... More

We had never been on a cruise before, ever so we decided to go with Disney of course, just a quick 4 night cruise to Castaway Cay and Nassau over our kids' winter break holiday. First things first, We absolutely love Disney, from the films, parks, characters etc... it's a young fan of five, me, my wife, our son age... More

The last full day of our cruise was spent at Castaway Cay. During the cruise, many of the "cast members" were warning us that we might not be able to port there, as the previous two cruises weren't able to land there due to weather. The day we arrived was absolutely beautiful! One of my friends and I ran the... More

We have always wanted to go to CC. It lives up to the hype! Snorkeled and saw Minnie and all the underwater items. Took my own fins, mask and snorkel (they rent for $36) if I remember correctly but I couldn't imagine putting a snorkel in my mouth that was in a strangers mouth! Plenty of beach chairs and plenty... Castaway is a beautiful island. This was our second visit. Our first was December 2013 and again recently January 2015. Our first visit was mostly spent exploring the island and figuring out where everything was with a short visit to a cabana of friends. The cabana was on the family beach, sorry I do not remember the #. We weren't... More

We did the tube/float, snorkel equip, bike rental! We went on the bike rental first and we were glad we did because by the time we were done with our over and hour long ride, we were ready to hit the beach! We had great weather around 80 and it was so gorgeous there! The water wasn't too warm, but... More

We took a Bahamian cruise on the Disney Wonder, all of which was terrific, and Castaway Cay was one of the highlights. I went there with two of my grandchildren, aged 10 and 12, and we all had a blast. We rented snorkel gear, bicycles and tubes. and enjoyed all of them. Some of the Disney characters were there. My...
