What's not to love about a private island? Only Disney cruises can use it and we were the only ship docked at the time we went. It had everything you need, including rental boats, snorkel gear, etc. We booked the sting ray port adventure and enjoyed every minute of it. The BBQ they served on the island was pretty tasty... By far the one of the best parts of our disney cruise. The sand is beautiful and clean, the water cool and clear. Disney has everything available - floats, snorkel equipment, food, drinks and restrooms. There are even cabanas available, although only a few and very pricey. There are plenty of sport excursions available on the island - sting ray... More

This time we ran the Castaway Cay 5K, very hor & humid but pleanty of water stops and everyone walks away with a winner's medal, and found the geocache placed on the island. It is beautiful here. Can't wait to get... More

I love that Disney has it's own island, and, while it's not the only cruise line that does have one, this is by far the cleanest and best-run of them out there!

On a recent Disney Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Disney Fantasy the last stop after Saint Martin/Saint Maarten, Saint Thomas was the Disney only island of Castaway Cay[key]. A day to explore its three beaches .Scuttles Cove, Pelican Beach and my favorite, Serenity Bay, an all adult tropical paradise. Enjoy a Konch Kooler at the Castaway Bar overlooking the peaceful... this is a beautiful island. There is so much to do there is not enough time to do everything. We fed stingrays, my daughter and I went snorkling, the entire family went for a bike ride around the island. We also did the glass bottom boat ride... which I would not recommend. give yourself time to relax and just enjoy... More

This was our last stop on our first Disney Cruise. We went from August 23-30 2014. We docked around 8:45am and were allowed to leave the ship at 9:50am. There was quite a line of people all trying to leave the ship at the same time. My wife, 8 y/o daughter, and I would've got in line sooner if we... More
