This was our 2nd cruise on DCL to the Bahamas and Castaway Cruise. We didn't even get off in the Bahamas-it's the same touristy junk. Instead we stayed on board and road the "Aqua Duck" over and over. We did get off at Castaway Cay and managed to rent bikes (a must do), run the complimentary 5K (if you're a... More

I have now been on four Disney Cruises, and three of them went to Castaway Cay. Each time I found myself thinking that it was my favorite part of that Cruise. Everything on the island is easily accessible and there are plenty of activities for everyone on the ship and then some. Cookies and Cookies Too are great dining options... More

We had a great time at Castaway Cay! Like everyone else, we stopped here for 1 visit on a Disney cruise on the Dream. We got off the ship around 9:30am, once you get off there is a post office where you can send postcards (check your cabin, Disney provides several for free) that will have a Castaway Cay postmark.... Visiting this island is part of the Disney Cruise Line cruise to Nassau trip. Arriving at Castaway Cay July 19, 2014, we participated in the 5K Fun Run/Walk, enjoyed the scenery of the beaches and enjoyed the adults only beach for an hour or so of peace and quiet as part of our cruise. Disney does it right! Lunch was... More

We did the stingray adventure first, very cool. When we were done feeding the rays we were able to just snorkel around them until our hour was up. We rented snorkel equipment for the day and went out to find sunken mickey mouse, we saw lots of neat things out there including lots of colorful fish. The beach is gorgeous,... More

I went on the Disney cruise and did not have such a great time while I was on it. Lets just say Castaway Cay was thee BEST part of the whole cruise and I absolutely loved every second of it. This beach is pristine and everything is wonderful about it. Our boat docked around 8am and we had to leave... More

We are frequent Disney Cruise travelers and this is the favorite part of any of our cruises. Wish Disney would create an all inclusive hotel on this island so we could just stay there. Food is great. Restroom facilities are generally clean. Lots of activities for everyone to do! Best part of a Disney cruise for our family!

This place is like no-other place on this planet. Castaway Cay = Perfection. This is Disney's paradise. If you are lucky enough to be on a Disney Cruise that ports here for a day, consider yourself LUCKY! Get off the ship the moment you port and stay on the beach all day! I loved the parasailing VERY MUCH! Will definitely... More
