My husband and I booked a morning trip with Sea Kayak Georgia and although we had to get ourselves from Savannah to Tybee it was really not a problem and totally worth the short drive (took a taxi). Our guide was fantastic and super knowledgable about the area, the vegetation, and really made the trip exactly what we needed. He... More

We were looking for ideas on where to launch our kayaks - woman at desk grudgingly gave us a photocopy of the island with two launches highlighted, stating "these are for customers". it was a photocopy, not an expensive brochure.....

What a great morning out with Tim and John, our 4 teenagers had nothing but praise for the team and the days activities. All aspects wee covered from the tour of the coastal waterways to the ocean, as our teenagers were experienced kayakers they are able to enjoy the activity in full and focus on the scenery and the fun.... We started out a little nervous, as it was my fiancée & myself & our 2 kids aged 9. None of us are experienced & I wasn't sure how it would go. Our guide, Tim, was awesome with all of us, even when he had to hook up me & my daughter to his boat to tow us because we... More

We had a wonderful time. We have two teenagers 14 & 16 and it was a highlight of our vacation. Our tour guide, John, was funny and knowledgable. We kayaked through waves and tributaries and marsh grass. We stopped and explored Little Tybee. It was a great time. We felt comfortable and can't wait to take another kayak tour our... More

We went for a 3-hour kayak tour. The guide, John, was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. We aren't very experienced with kayaks but his instructions were clear, and he was very patient and helpful a couple of times when my beginner's skills took me to the wrong place. :) Make sure to slather yourself with sunscreen, wear a... Marsha and Ronnie have their act together. John is a little on the aloof side but is well traveled and needs to be warmed up to. I went here to demo kayaks so I can grow into a boat. Marsha took me out on the bay to try 5 or so boats and I know that at some point in... More

We did a half day tour today with 3 adults and a 15 year old boy. John our guide was a great paddle instructor and guide. Paddling through the many creeks at little tybee was beautiful with lots of bird life. We enjoyed walking on the undeveloped island which is accessible only by boat. Crossing the back river was an... Walter, our tour guide, was very knowledgable and friendly. The ride was fun but not too difficult. We will definitely come back for another tour to see the minks.
