We went for a 3-hour kayak tour. The guide, John, was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. We aren't very experienced with kayaks but his instructions were clear, and he was very patient and helpful a couple of times when my beginner's skills took me to the wrong place. :) Make sure to slather yourself with sunscreen, wear a... Marsha and Ronnie have their act together. John is a little on the aloof side but is well traveled and needs to be warmed up to. I went here to demo kayaks so I can grow into a boat. Marsha took me out on the bay to try 5 or so boats and I know that at some point in... More

We did a half day tour today with 3 adults and a 15 year old boy. John our guide was a great paddle instructor and guide. Paddling through the many creeks at little tybee was beautiful with lots of bird life. We enjoyed walking on the undeveloped island which is accessible only by boat. Crossing the back river was an... Walter, our tour guide, was very knowledgable and friendly. The ride was fun but not too difficult. We will definitely come back for another tour to see the minks.

The four of us made reservations to go kayaking this past Saturday morning. After a short tutorial and safety talk, we loaded a van for a short drive to where we would depart for our tour. John was our tour guide and TJ held up the rear (helped keep us all out of trouble). The kayaking was fairly relaxed and... More

We did a half-day tour to Little Tybee at the end of December. I had never been in a kayak before, and I was nervous. We had Marsha as our guide. She quickly had me feeling comfortable, and the instruction was excellent. Marsha had a great rapport with all of us, and she was very knowledgeable about the ecosystem, flora... More

they run an excellent sea kayaking symposium (and paddle boarding). I highly recommend it to any level of kayaker. It would be a great immersion course for a beginner or an excellent way to play in the rough seas for the experienced kayaker. The waters are so dynamic and have something to offer for everyone. I saw a dolphin while... More

Our group of 7 Girl Scouts took a half day excursion to Little Tybee. Because the tide was perfect, we left from right behind the shop and paddled thru the salt marsh and down the channel. We saw many birds and several pods of dolphins, some so close we could hear them breathing! Our guide, Tom, was great with the... More
