Great way to get around on Tybee Island

On our girls' trip to Savannah, we took the bus out to Tybee Island. The problem was that the bus either stops near the pavilion on the beach or at the lighthouse. We came upon... read more

I hate to write this, but... First time we used this service they were awesome. Second time - ran into scheduling issues that were not addressed as promised. Third time - were able to get in touch with them once during the week long stay. Their facebook page is no longer active and their website doesn't look like it's being... More

Recently, my friends and I visited Tybee Island. I had reserved a 4-seat Island Hopper for the day. It costs $30 per hour or $100 per day plus tax. I chose to rent for the day. Upon our arrival, the woman behind the desk told us that the battery in the vehicle only lasts 2 hours. At the end of... More

We initially tried turtle transit who never showed, then called here twice and they never had anything available. Ended up walking 1.5 miles both ways to the laundry mat. Taxi service on this island is not reliable at all.

On our girls' trip to Savannah, we took the bus out to Tybee Island. The problem was that the bus either stops near the pavilion on the beach or at the lighthouse. We came upon Island Hoppers, which offers open-air golf carts to rent, with or without a driver. They took us out to the lighthouse, giving us time to... More

We used this service last year and loved it. This year we decided to do a ghost tour. Don't know what happened, but the tour guide didn't show up. We waited for at least 30 minutes. No call, no tour. No nothing. The actual hopper service is great - drivers arrive when they say they will and everyone's super nice.... More

My Husband and I honeymooned on Tybee and were really impressed with Island Hoppers! Rick gave a great tour of the Island, and the ghost tour was awesome; I highly recommend it! All of the drivers were really nice and helpful and even gave us lots of information about local attractions! We will definitely be using Island Hoppers again on... More

Tour was very enjoyable. Guide was very friendly and knowledgable. We took the 8:30 tour right as it was getting dark. This was a perfect time.

This was a GREAT tour. Dina did a wonderful job. We saw thing that we had never seen before in our last 6 or 7 trips to the island. This is an absolute must!

Been to Tybee several times, but decided to take the tour with Dina this time. She made the entire trip fun and interesting adding so much to my previous experiences on the island. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting and be sure to ask for Dina.

We used the island hopper service instead of a cab to get around Savannah. We opted out of renting a car (which we regretted later you kind of need one) and found cabs to take too long so we decided to try this service as we saw it drove by. Everytime we called (early mornings and some late drinking evenings)... More
