I went on a short vacation to Savannah with my family this week. We were there for only 3 days but after hearing so many great things about Captain Derek's, we had to do it. We weren't disappointed! My husband, our 1 1/2 year old daughter and I did the sunset cruise, which was an hour long -- perfect for... More

While I was visiting my daughter in Savannah she had to work one evening so I opted for a Dolphin Adventure going solo! What FUN! I am from Indiana so my opportunities to play with dolphins are more than a little limited. The captain and first mate were both personable and engaging. The mate was very knowledgeable about the area.... More

We went on the sunset cruise and it was a great experience! Not only was the scenery beautiful with the lighthouses and the sunset but we saw many dolphins! They were all around us and putting on quite a show for us behind the boat when the captain made waves. We even got to see a baby dolphin jumping right... More

This was an awesome adventure. We saw lots of dolphins. Would recommend for adults and children. The captain and crew were the best.

We went on the 2pm cruise with my sister and her grandson. It was amazing how they got the dolphins to play in the wake. The one guy asked if I wanted him to take a video of it for me. I'll always have a great memory of this because of the video he did for me. Grandson liked to... More

We went on the 2pm cruise with these guys and had an incredible experience! My wife chose them because they advertised the unique ability to get the dolphins to follow in their wake. They did not disappoint. We must have had 5 or 6 dolphins following us for several minutes, surfing behind the boat, coming almost close enough to touch.... More

We had a wonderful experience with this tour. The first mate was very personable and we greatly enjoyed our conversations with him. The tour itself was spectacular. We saw soooo many dolphins and when the captain made waves with the boat the dolphins would catch up with us and jump the waves. The whole experience was quite enjoyable. Thanks guys!

The dolphins where only the cherry on top of the cupcake. They liked to play in the wake of the boat. The sunset was gorgeous. This put you at a different perspective of tybee. They took you up close to the cockspur lighthouse. The tybee lighthouse had its light on. If you are a photographer this is a good way.... More

We we a little skeptical about trying another promised Dolphin adventure after what happened in PCB. This was a great experience and great cruise. Be sure to book your cruise for the 7:00pm trip. There was nothing like experiencing the beautiful sunset behind the light house while watching dolphins!!!! You will for sure see Dolphins. We enjoyed this trip so... More

Not disappointed, despite a slow start with a few "national geographic" moments and lots of sighting relatively close and time to talk. The real show came as we sped homeward, with 4-6 dolphins riding the stern wave for what seemed an age. A great way to spend an hour, it’s a shame we missed the lemon shark when we returned!... More
