We really liked the boat ride! We saw some Dolphins but took forever to find(which isn't their fault) it was nice to see Gods creation in their natural habitat! It was beautiful. The only thing I didn't like is that we had to ask for a life vest for the toddler.

I always Worry on things like this What if there are no dolphins? Not an issue on our cruise! We literally saw dozens if not more, including babies. Amazing value for the price, and they were great. Also, my youngest uses a walker and they were really accomodating.

I am sure that, in the summer, this would be a great adventure! However, we went in November and it was VERY windy and cold, and at times the boat goes fast, and you get splashed. There were deep waves that appeared larger than the bottom part of the tiny little fishing boat that we were on at times. So, it... More

We found this dolphin tour, in one of the Tybee island tourist books. The add says handicap accessible, and "large" bathroom on board boat. What a joke, the bathroom is approx.4 ft square, without a bucket, with a toilet seat !!!!! There are sharp screws or nails sticking out from the tiny walls, a person could get cut very easily.To... Our boat is certainly handicap accessible. In fact, we have had numerous motorized wheelchairs aboard. We went to great lengths to make our boat easy to board including rigorous Coast Guard inspections of our modifications to accomodate wheelchairs, so our assertion that the boat is handicapped accessible is backed by the Coast Guard's inspection. As such, your statement that we... More

I really enjoyed the captain and his sense of humor. The boat was also small, so it was not crowded with lots of people (about 20 of us on the tour). Our tour guide pointed out the lighthouses and gave us some facts about Savannah and the harbor area. When we got out to the dolphins, there were about 5... More

Time flies when your having fun. We left the pod of dolphin to run out to the ship because sometimes the dolphin are surfing the waves from their wake. It is really cool to see. It was a gamble, but I wanted to give you the best show possible. I operate with the fullest attention to give you the best... More

We did this tour, spur of the moment, and I'm glad we did. We were able to see dozens of dolphins, or maybe just the same 6 over and over. Either way, it was a lot of interaction. There was another tour going on at the same time, and I was worried that we would be called in to drag... More

We got to see lots of dolphins!! Way more than we expected! Well worth the $15.00 fee per person! We were out there for about 1 1/2 hours.

My husband and I had a great time! Both of us got some great pictures and video of the dolphins, the tour guide and the captain were funny and informative and it was just an all around enjoyable adventure! :)

I went on a short vacation to Savannah with my family this week. We were there for only 3 days but after hearing so many great things about Captain Derek's, we had to do it. We weren't disappointed! My husband, our 1 1/2 year old daughter and I did the sunset cruise, which was an hour long -- perfect for... More
