We went Memorial Day with our 2 young kids and it was a fantastic time! We saw the first dolphins shortly after departing and by the time we got to where the shrimp boats were they were all over the place. No trouble finding them. We got great videos of them fairly close to the boat. We even saw jellyfish... More

Went out on Mickey's Boston Whaler for four hours and got to see the sunset behind the islands. Saw lots of Doplhins, big cool fish, pulled over and ate oysters that we picked off the side of the island, and generally enjoyed a great adventure. Mickey is a humble, honest guy with a ton of experience! I would go again... More

We took Captain Derek's dolphin tour while vacationing on Tybee Island GA. Being from Colorado we really wanted to see dolphins, so this was a big 'to do' on our list. Their property isn't fancy, and the boat isn't pretty, but the tour was amazing! There were about 10 customers on our tour, and we saw the first dolphins within... More

We took our 17 Girl Scouts and 15 adults on the dolphin cruise May 3rd and it was so much fun and one of the girls favorite things that we did in an action packed week-end. The Captain and his ship mate were funny and knowledgeable. We saw a mama and her baby dolphin and tons of other dolphins during... More

We booked the sunset cruise. We had a family of 3 generations on board.Everyone enjoyed themselves. Kurtis the first mate was great with all his knowledge of the area's history and the dolphins. Capt Derek did a great job at finding playful dolphins and knowing just what to do to get them to interact with us on the boat. Thanks... More

Capt.Derek eagerly awaited our arrival at the pier on Tybee Island for our planned 4 hour trip. we were on the Sheephead fish in minutes after we dropped anchor. we also landed in a school of mackerel and in minutes with a change in bait, we were hauling in mackerel as fast as we could throw out the lines..it was... We booked our tour in the morning and got in on the noon tour. They were very friendly, knowledgable and knew where to go and told us where to look for Dolphins. We saw quite a few so everyone was happy! It is a great price which made it an affordable family activity. We would definitely go do this again... More

We booked a last-minute sunset cruise on April 7, 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed it, as did our two teens. We saw a good number of dolphins, as well as lots of pelicans and a stunning sunset. The first mate shared lots of interesting information on Savannah history, its waters and its wildlife. Boats hold about 20 passengers so everyone has... More

Took the dolphin tour a few years back and really enjoyed the trip. We saw lots of dolphins but also beautiful oyster beds at lower tide and the guide gave detailed history of the lighthouses, shrimp boats and area. I was worried I wouldn't be able to figure out which tour boat we took but easily figured it out from... More

The boat was the only drawback to the tour. It was older but stable. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area. He was able to point out a lot of interesting sites and information as we headed out and back to sea. We were very fortunate to be able to see and photograph many dolphins and view them... More
