We went on a tour in December. We booked online ahead of time which is highly recommended because the tour was sold out and they turned away people. Looks like tours only run once a day every other day in the off season. The boat was one of the bigger ones without chairs, but ledges to sit on. Plenty of... More

We went on this trip on the coldest day in November but even that couldn't ruin a great morning out. The guide was fantastic and gave us lots of interesting details about Tybee, Fort Pulaski and the Light Houses. We saw lots of dolphins and the Captain made certain everyone had a chance to get some great photos, we even... More

It was cold and windy when we went out. We didn't see many Dolphins. We saw about 3 dolphins the whole time and they popped up for a breath of air and were gone. The guide gave interesting information about the area, landmarks, Dolphins, and waterways so it made up for the lack of Dolphins. All in all it is... More

We had a really good time while on our dolphin watching tour. It was a bit chilly, but its December so its expected. We saw several dolphins, with one young one jumping for us a few times. Got some great photos of the pelicans, the 2 light houses, and the ocean. I think I might have gotten some shots of... More

I will take this tour every time my family is near Tybee Island. Not only are they experts in finding the dolphins, they let you experience so much more. They let us get right next to the Cockspur Island Lighthouse, special areas in the Atlantic, and near a cargo ship passing by. They truly are the masters of their art... More

I went on a sunset cruise with a group of seven celebrating 50 years of friendship! The weather was perfect and the sunset beautiful. Experiencing low tide at the time, our Captain navigated the channels smoothly and found LOTS of dolphins to everyone's delight. Upon our arrival at the ticket office we found Linda to be most kind and accommodating.... More

Went on the 2:00 p.m. tour. The weather was great, the host and captain did a nice job. There were a good amount of dolphins spotted from adults to adolescents. A nice bit of information regarding dolphins in general and some nice history regarding Tybee island, the lighthouses and shrimp boats. We all got a chuckle as the host explained... More

I wanted to like this tour a lot more, however it just didn't live up to expectations. When we first boarded the boat, the guide told us that they would try to make sure both sides of the boat had equal opportunities to see the dolphins. I know they can't control when and where dolphins will appear. But from what... More

We chose Captain Mike's because our first choice was rained out. This must have been fate! We had a great time on the Adventure. We saw plenty of dolphin and had an awesome tour guide. He was very informative and we learned a lot. We enjoyed the lighthouses that we visible on the tour. The only thing that I would... More

Our group of eleven had an awesome time with Captain Mike's Dolphin Tours. We were really not expecting to see that many dolphins! We went in the late afternoon and went out in the vicinity of some shrimp boats. The dolphins tend to follow them to catch what falls from their nets so they were everywhere! We saw at least...
