We went past season in November, when it was not very busy. We had a great ride, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and the price was SO much cheaper than the cruises that I found in St. Augustine. I will definitely be going again-- it was a wonderful time! My only word of warning is that the waves can get... More

We went on a dolphin boat tour the first week of November (past peak season) and had a good time. We were able to see about 10 dolphins on the tour. There were a few more landmarks that we saw from the water - the Tybee Island lighthouse, the Cockspur lighthouse and the Georgia-South Carolina state line (a long line... More

We chose Captain Mike's because it looked like they had bigger boats and I am prone to motion sickness. I am so glad we chose them because our experience was great! The boat was comfortable and the captain did a great job turning so that each side of the boat got a great view of dolphins. We saw quite a... More

I did not expect to see as many dolphins as we did on this Sunday outing. I thought maybe we would see a few but we saw several. some playing, saw a small pod. some were following fishing boats. we went out quite far into the water. we could also bring our dog! these people rock. the boat was comfortable... Captain Kenny and Veronica did a great job. We found at least one pod of dolphins and Kenny was a masterful driver to keep all 40+ people on the boat able to see them. Veronica (I am pretty sure that was her name) was a font of knowledge about dolphins, the ocean and other aspects of the tour. She kept... More

This is our second tour with Captain Mike's and each time the dolphin sightings were plentiful. Very much enjoyed by all. Tremendous views of the island and the channel. Awesome!

We attended this as a Girl Scout Troop. The Captains of the ship were rude. There was not a lot of space for waiting people. Fishing boats were coming in to offload which made it difficult for access to and from the boats. We did see dolphins though which was what we were wanting to accomplish.

Our captain, Allen Lewis, seemed to know exactly where the dolphins would be, and we had some great sightings. We also saw a working shrimp boat, cargo freighter, abandoned light house and other interesting sites that we inland folks don't normally experience.

we took the 1130 tour today and saw lots of dolphins! there was a large freighter going back out into the ocean and the dolphins were everywhere! tina and the captain were nice enough. tina told us about the lighthouses (you see them both on this tour) and the dolphin history. boat was ok (dolphinV) but take note that the... We arrived early and waited at the dock for 40 minutes. Finally, 10 minutes after the trip was supposed to depart, we were informed that the trip had been cancelled. We regret wasting our afternoon and not booking with one of the competitors. Major letdown!

It is unfortunate that Mother Nature does not always respond with good weather on holiday week ends. The tour was canceled due to steady rain. An email blast was sent out to inform customers of the canceled tour, phone calls were made to telephone numbers we had and an employee went down 15 minutes before the tour was scheduled to... More
