Sometimes the best places are those "world's biggest ball of twine" sort of attractions, and "Goats on the Roof" definitely falls into that quirky category. There's nothing unusual inside: ice cream, drinks, knick knacks, and just the usual stuff you find at a tourist stop. But if you're going to stop at a tourist spot anyway, why the heck wouldn't... I have family in the area and when we visit, this is always on the list of places to stop. It is always entertaining for the kids to feed the goats. The gift shop has reasonably priced items if you need to pick up any souvenirs. This was our fourth visit and as always, it's unique, fun, and quick!

Basic road side tourist stop, I was hoping for more goat milk/cheese products- not really there they are more catered to just the tourist looking for roadside kitsch. My son had fun sending the can of goat food up the line, and he did catch a lizard.. So if you need to pee or just want to stretch your legs-... More

Yes, there are goats on the roof. They are fun to watch. The kids particularly like them. You can buy goat food inside and crane the food up to the goats on the roof. They also have a number of their brands of jellies and such inside. There is also a number of knick knacks that can be purchased inside.

We saw a lot of flyers for this place and passed it a few times during our 5 day vacation we finally stopped on our last day and spent an hour walking around, taking pictures and feeding the goats. Our children especially loved the ice cream they made it with liquid nitrogen it was awesome to watch. We will recommend... More

Every time I pass Goats on a Roof, whether by myself or with family, I stop, and usually get ice cream. The goats were particularly active on this occasion, on the bridge and where you could see them. This is just a happy place.

If you are passing by it is worth the stop. Wouldn't drive out of my way to see it. Enjoyed feeding the goats. They have various feeding stations for getting the food to the goats on the roof or you can hand feed them. When they see the food they all come running and they are very piggy. Shops offer... More

Came by during the hours the website said it was open. It was not and it was well after 10. The man who was there was very rude. If you're not going to be open when you say you are, you need to make that clear.

It 's a fun place for children!! And adults enjoy as well. The goats are as the name says up on the roof. They have a bicycle that you ride that sends goat food up to the roof to feed the goats. There's also another cranking apparatus that sends food to the roof for the goats. There were at least... More

Got sucked into goat's on the roof. Yes there were three actual goats there, plus children who should be in school. Must be part of the whole homeschooling craze that does'nt work! Have fun, It gets worse. Overpriced crap, employee's too busy with their cell phones. Just go to Walmart for the same experience!
