Cathy and her volunteers (Doris helped us so much!) are so knowledgeable and they graciously accomodated us as we worked to break through our "brick walls". We were there to reserach my wife's great grandfather's history in Thomasville. He arrived there in 1829 on four years after the area was first settled. "Beth" was very helpful and spent almost two hours with my wife reviewing sources and printing out historical information on my wife's great gradfather.

The staff was accommodating and brought genealogical folders and books to a quiet area for research purposes. This Library is located in the middle of town and there is plenty of parking on the street.
