My girlfriend and I visited this museum whilst we were in the Lake District for a few days. The museum is a relatively small venue with a number of classic cars and bikes within. It doesn't take long to get around the museum. Once you have completed the tour of the museum, make sure you check out the other museum... More

Enjoyed this museum - if you're into the history of motors its a must. Spent over a hour here, the wife didn't enjoy it as mush as me, but I'm a bit of a train spotter when it comes to the motor car and motorcycles.

Great place to visit lots of different cars and old motor cycles displayed very well. Also go and look at the Donald Campbell section and watch the film (I found this quite moving) all included in the entrance fee.

Great museum for anyone even remotely interested in transport. Great range of cars, bikes, motorbikes etc and a good TT film show. The Campbell/Bluebird exhibition is a must see. Very good.

It was lovely to see so many old cars and motorbikes with many displays. Lots of interesting things including the IOM TT tribute.... More

Rainy day or not, the Lakeland Motor Museum is really a wonderful place to visit. Some fantastic old and newish cars and motorbikes. But look past all the cars and also see all the motoring memorabilia, some great displays, old signs, bits of bikes, cars etc. We'll worth a visit, although the cafe is not dog friendly, if those things... Many thanks for your lovely review of our museum. We're delighted you enjoyed your visit. The cafe cannot allow dogs inside due to food hygiene policy but our four-legged friends are allowed on the riverside veranda whilst you eat. They are also welcome in all areas of the museum. More
