I am always interested in poor and terrible reviews to discover what has spoiled a meal, hotel or attraction. So many are minor moans which could have been addressed at the time by talking to someone. I am always pleased to see reviews which claim "I know a bit about...food, wine, hotels, cars" and then go on to prove that... More

Very interesting covering all aspects of motor, from pedal cars to land/water speed records. There are literally thousands of exhibits crammed into this museum, whether your into bikes, cars or trucks there is something for everyone. You can even take a walk along the river. If your there at lunch time I recommend the cafe, good food nicely priced.

My girlfriend and I visited this museum whilst we were in the Lake District for a few days. The museum is a relatively small venue with a number of classic cars and bikes within. It doesn't take long to get around the museum. Once you have completed the tour of the museum, make sure you check out the other museum... More

Interesting place. Dog friendly. Something for everyone. Will take you down memory lane with lots of things to see. Also a tribute to Malcolm and Donald Campbell and replica cars. There was a video showing the story too which was interesting. worth a visit but be prepared to pay £8.00 a head for the entrance fee. Not sure if its... More

Enjoyed this museum - if you're into the history of motors its a must. Spent over a hour here, the wife didn't enjoy it as mush as me, but I'm a bit of a train spotter when it comes to the motor car and motorcycles.

Great place to visit lots of different cars and old motor cycles displayed very well. Also go and look at the Donald Campbell section and watch the film (I found this quite moving) all included in the entrance fee.
