This park was originally slated to be a dog park, but once the planners realized the beauty of the spot on the bend in the river, the dogs were relegated to a bare little fenced area further down the road just past the dam, and this became a people park. It's been done very nicely, too -- the view of... More

Nice place to spend some relaxing time. People can rent small boats if they are interested to get into the water. Unfortunately it doesn't have a beach area else it could easily draw more visitors

We recently moved to Atlanta and have been trying to find amusements for our 1.5 year old. Morgan Falls park offers a couple of playgrounds, a pavilion, and a green overlooking the Chattahoochee river. The playgrounds have a mesh-like tarp over them to keep direct sun off the little ones, which is a lifesaver in the Southern spring and summer... More

It is very convenient for me because it's about a mile away from my home. The park is small, but well cared for and it offers great views of the Morgan Falls Reservoir. It has a big playground for children, picnic tables and a walking trail of about a mile. I really like the big swings overlooking the water. A... More

Our daughter's beau took me by here and it is very pretty. Not sure of the amenities, but if you are in the Morgan Falls area, check it out!

I've been park hopping recently around Atlanta, and this was the one that I didn't get a whole lot out of. It seems that it's more geared to kids and families than anything. The park itself is off a really poorly maintained road, which is too narrow and somewhat dangerous. The hiking trail wasn't too exciting, and if you're looking... More

My Son (22 months) enjoyed the park so much that he did not want to go back home. I would give it a thumbs up.

I came to this park after visiting the dog park down the street. You're allowed to bring you dog as long as they are on a leash. There is a nice playground for the kids, a covered area for grilling, a floating dock on the water and some awesome chair swings. My dog and I sat in the chair swings... More
