This is not your ordinary golf course & driving range. Located in Sandy Springs on Morgan Falls Road, Steel Canyon (formerly known as Blue Heron) is a really fun, yet different, 18 hole, par 61 executive golf course. We recently planted all new greens and renovated much of the golf course so it is looking pretty spiffy. In fact, it is better than ever. It also has one awesome lighted practice facility where you can enjoy great grass, practice putting and chipping green, and new range balls. Add great PGA instruction and golf camps and you have the perfect place to master the game.

We had our reservation for foot golf lost twice. We made an appointment for Wednesday, on Wednesday morning we got an email thanking us for coming the day before. I called them (11am) and they had no record of our reservation for that day at 3pm. We made another one that had to be at 4pm because they were booked.... More

This course will be a disappointment if you expect to play a "NORMAL" course. Its mainly par 3' with some par 4's...There may be one par five...not sure..The course is quirky at best...But there are a few nice holes. Its probably better for beginner golfers who wont mind all the electric wires zig zagging around a few of the holes.... More

Goose droppings and mud everywhere and very rude customers that Rush you.... I actually got into a verbal altercation out there with one of their ex employees and tournament players.

Very nice par 61 course. Greens are very good, as are most fairways. Great for practicing your short game and only taking about three hours for 18 holes.Driving range was damaged some during storms a few weeks ago, but is being repaired.

I have played the really expensive golf courses and enjoy them. This is not a really expensive golf course. During the summer I was paying $12 for 18 holes. I really like this golf course for what it is. Their greens are actually really nice. The views of the power lines everywhere suck, but whatever. I enjoy golf and playing... More

The best part is having an executive golf course close to your office. Steel Canyon offers great specials (18 for $18 on Mondays) as well as accessibility. While the course has some rough spots, this is golf. Your fellow golfers are playing the same course as you. Challenges abound for your iron game and putting. Close by, inexpensive and knowledgeable... More

If you're in the local Sandy Springs area, it's an easy executive golf course where you can get in a quick 18 after work. It's under new management this year and they are doing a fine job. They offer specials online through LastMinuteTeeTimes.com and other discount golf sites. Your price always includes a cart, they have a great driving range... More
