Such a simple church, with such an incredible story. As my wife and I have told, and retold, the story everyone's reaction is the same. WOW! Love conquers all.

Bring your camera. I think my wife and I even enjoyed it more because we were with a tour guide. The tour guide explained the background and the little side stories that made the stroll through the cemetery interesting.

Interesting history, beautiful Church and grounds. Check before going, certain days and times you can tour the inside of the Curch.

Especially for those that love history and the beauty of the oaks on St. Simons Island. Take a relaxing walk around the cemetery and you'll find graves going back into the 1700s. You will also see graves of Civil War Veterans and many of the original settlers of the Island. The interior of the church is beautiful and the attendant... More

If you don't see anything else, don't miss this. The church is gorgeous both inside and out. Be sure to visit the cemetery. If you are a fan of Eugenia Price, you will find names from her books set on the island. Just breathtaking.

The church and grounds are beautiful. Take time to look around. A bit of knowledge about the church helps to appreciate it even more.

You can't go to St. Simon and then not visit the Christ Church. It is one of the many wonders of the island. On the day we visited there was a lady parishioner there to welcome us and give us a mini tour. She wanted us to see the Tiffany window and gave us a brief history. She also mentioned... More

Church is only open a few afternoons, nice to visit, but don't miss the cemetery with lots of historic gravestones and spanish moss. During a home tour in late March they have actors popping up from the gravestones telling their stories, sorry we missed it!
