Since Atlanta GA was burned down by Gen. William Sherman in 1864, there are not much historical site near Atlanta. I guess that is the reason why Barrington Hall become one of the attraction. I visited many mansions and historical sites in US before. So this place is not that great to me. Except learning more story of the American... More

this is a great place to visit. I do have to say that I fell in love with the place back in the 1990's when it was still owned by the original family and they lived there. The older southern ladies would sit on the porch in rocking chairs and tell stories about old Roswell. Since then the location has... More

Tours are on the hour, while you wait on the porch. It's cash at the door unless you bought your tickets at the tourist centre. The tour is almost a personal tour, as you start by sitting in the drawing room, and then move through the house and learn the history of Roswell, and the family home. The tour guide... More

The tours began on the hour, every hour. My daughter and I raced over there after visiting the great Roswell Vistor's Center. We got there at 10:01. We rang the bell and NO ONE would let answer the door. I have since heard they are very inflexible. Don't waste your time on this one. Very disappointed in this place!

We visited the second home of the Trilogy on our way back to Atlanta after seeing Bulloch Hall a week earlier. We had planned to visit all three at once, but realised that it would be too rushed. The tours start and finish on the hour, and you need time to look at the gardens and travel from one house... More

Roswell King who founded Roswell GA built this lovely mansion pre-civil war. Take a tour of the home with one of the excellent guides and see original furnishings, decor and artifacts. Take a tour of the beautiful gardens which are planted with plants that are over 100 years old. A rose grows up one of the enormous pillars. A scuppernong... More

.... this is one of three Antebellum homes in Roswell open for tours, can purchase a discount ticket for all three. 'Ditto' for all of the earlier reviews about this home. Very enjoyable and informative tour.

Our Docent was very nice and welcoming but not very informative about the history and felt she left a lot out and the presentation was disjointed I left very confused. However the home is beautiful and well preserved with original furnishings of the family, I enjoyed seeing and experiencing the old south history.

This is a beautifully kept home conjuring up the Old South as it was prior to the Civil War. The furniture is authentic, the grounds are scrupulously kept by a local garden club and there is a real feeling of being there. Don't expect complicated films and labels. It even feels as though you could sit on the furniture. The... More

I had some spare time before my flight to the UK in Feb 2015 and wanted to visit one of the "Trilogy" houses in Roswell. As I live near Barrington Court in Somerset, UK this house intrigued me - I was not disappointed. Although not as old as Barrington Court, it has had a great history and this was revealed... More
