3 women, not kids, decided to go on an adventure close to our Atlanta home. We went to Wild Safari near Pine Mountain and had the best time. My bravest friend, who drove her own beat up car was TERRIFIED when the giraffe stuck it's head in her window. That alone was worth the trip. Feeding bison with their tongues... More

Okay I am a veteran of the Wild Animal Safari. My family lives close so we've been at least five times. Tip 1: Go in the fall or early spring. Tip 2: Use the rental vans, the animals are more conditioned to respond to them. Tip 3: If you must go in the summer, be the first people in the... More

This place was great. Took a van full and everyone really enjoyed feeding the animals. Was a little concerned my 2yo wouldn't like the animals getting so close but it wasn't a problem. The small zoo was nice. Nice staff, didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked reasonable and clean. Our age ranged from 2-38 and everyone really enjoyed... More

Myself, my husband, daughter and granddaughter all really enjoyed this. Definitely rent the van (I think it was 15.00) because these big animals could damage your car for sure. Do pay attention to what the person who sells you the tickets says about what animals you can feed by hand (or pay attention to the brochure they give you) and... More

I took two preteen young ladies to the park. We rented a van, bought the food for four and started off on our adventure! We arrived by 11 before the heat of the day and the animals were very active. The girls laughed the entire trip around the park. I took so many pictures it was ridiculous! We also walked... More

Granted when we went is was summer and very, very hot, but this park was overall a disappointment. The walk about area kept their animals in small enclosures, although did provide lots of shade and water. The drive through area the animals were everywhere, but in the middle of the day, few came up to the van for food. However,... More

The Safari bus is the best way to ride through. The animals come up to the bus and you can feed them with purchased bags of feed. I would not recommend driving your own vehicle for fear of getting it scratched by the animals that walk up to it.

My daughter had a blast ... it was fun watching the giraffe run by the bus! She got to feed the animals and get up close... even her dad loved it

We had an awesome time! I do have to admit that some of the animal seemed a little to thin for their own well being, but I am no animal expert. My kids had a hoot! We rented the safari van, which is a good idea since your vehicle will not run the risk of getting damaged. For the price,... More
