The grounds were beautiful. The educational facilities were excellent too! My husband and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary and truly enjoyed walking through the gardens and all of the attractions, including the beach area, the butterfly pavilion, the vegetable gardens, and so much more. We were there on a Monday afternoon so the area was quiet and peaceful and... More

We spent almost 3 hours here July 16th, but we could have "done" the place in two if we were in a hurry. You could easily stay all day, but decide ahead of time what you want to do. There is a zip line available, but we passed because of the loooong ladders involved. (Amazing how a motorcycle wreck can... More

We visited Callaway Gardens over spring break and enjoyed bicycle around the gardens with our grandchildren. The bike rental was quick and easy, just be sure to check the bikes out for mechanical security since many people rent them and don't always take care of the "rented" equipment. The park was very nice unfortunately many of the plants weren't quite... More

Thank you for your post. We are glad that you had a "grand" time. Thank you for guests suggesting that they check what's in bloom. Nature has its own timeline. Also, we're pleased to share that we have new bicycles in the fleet. We hope you and your family will be able to return soon. More

My family loves this place and we have quite a variety of people to please! From my teenagers who love to be on the go all the time, they do waterskiing, tree-top adventures, ropes course, iceberg island and golf while my husband and I just like to bike or walk thru the gardens and enjoy relaxing in nature. We just... More

Check in time is at 4 o'clock p.m. And mostly everything closed down at 6 o'clock p.m. I really think that they should have a flat rate price for everything for everyone to enjoy. There is no flat rate for the activity you have to pay an additional taxes I suggest everyone look up the race for the activities for... More

We are glad that you enjoyed your visit. We appreciate your thoughts and input and will share those ideas with others. However, we have found that everyone doesn't want to do everything. If the price was inclusive - it may be too high for others to visit. And, limiting guest opportunity and discouraging them from visiting is the last thing... More

My family of four, with a teenage son and a 20 year old son, took advantage of the "Get Out and Play" stay for $149.00, including taxes. We stayed one night in a really nice no view room with wonderful climate control and super comfy and pretty white bedding. The motel has a pretty slate courtyard, which I wish I'd... More

For the past two summers my wives family has vacationed at Callaway Gardens. Although some have voiced their opinion that it doesn’t live up to the hype I’ve really enjoyed myself. Having small children it can be difficult finding a place too entertain both kids and adults. The Summer Family Adventure (SFA) at Callaway can. Every morning the kids get... More

Beautiful, serene trails! The walk and visit to the Chapel was a wonderful afternoon diversion. Our trip to the Butterfly Solarium was also a great highlight.
