If you love flowers, especially in March - April, you will be awed by the beautiful gardens of azaleas, tuplips and dogwood trees. You can spend hours just walking, bike riding or renting a golf cart to see the "wonderful" gardens. The azaleas are "breath- taking". Also, the butterfly exhibit is very interesting. I don't remember seeing so many varieties... More

We love to hear the stories of visitors when they tell of how much they enjoyed the Gardens and all the attractions. The Butterfly house is a beauty in itself with all the different butterflies flying around. The Sibley Horticultural center is a great place to just walk and relax and enjoy the many different types of plants. Some native... More

Quietness and enjoying nature and beauty of grounds. The Butterfly Center and Birds of Prey show. Enjoyed the Gardens walking the trails and wondering where we would end up, the children especially liked this.

Unfortunately for us the heavens opened on the one day we were able to visit. We found plenty to see and do at the indoor attractions such as the butterfly garden, the arboretum, and the Birds of Prey show. Employees were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and made for an enjoyable experience. The grounds were meticulously landscaped and inviting. I hope... More

Thank you for visiting with us even in the rain. The Butterfly Center, Birds of Prey shows and other attractions offer plenty to do in the rain and in a way you can stay dry. The Birds of Prey show is awesome to see but also educational. I learn something new each time I watch. We do hope that you... More

Enjoying a few days at beautiful Callaway Gardens. It had been over 40 years since I had seen the azaleas in bloom at Callaway, so I talked the husband into a mini-vacation for our 40th anniversary. The azaleas are beautiful. As many colors and varieties as you can imagine. There are nice walking trails throughout the "Azaleas Bowl." Early spring... More

Only negative is that the garden restaurant was closed and only grille food available. Enjoyed pecan crusted chick salad at the inn outside of the garden. Perfect weekday visit without crowds. Monday will probably be peak!

It was so nice being outdoors after the rotten Atlanta winter! Tons of azaleas and dogwoods were blooming as well as tulips and other early spring plants. This was a visit for my cousin & his wife visiting from Seattle as well as my 84 yr. old mother, 16 yr. old daughter and myself. The paths were well maintained and... More

We are so glad to hear that y'all enjoyed Spring. We'll take your comments into consideration as we prepare to work on the map. We're surprised to hear that as it is a vast improvement to the map & guide that we were using. We are in the long-range planning phase of new signs but it is quite an investment.... More

We spent 4 days in and around Callaway Gardens: there is so much to see and do! We went in late March and, unfortunately, only about 20% of everything was in bloom. With that said, it was still just a lovely and relaxing getaway. The grounds are so immense that they must be traveled by bicycle or car. Plenty to... More
