I noticed that someone before had complained about the signage. Although you are given a map at the gatehouse sometimes the signage is confusion. I went all the way around the lake when I didn't set out to do this.

We went in March, we did not think that there would be much color, but it was Beautiful. We loved the bird show & all the walking trails. Great garden, we are going back.

We live in Pine Mountain and have a yearly pass to Callaway. We bring our family whenever they come to visit. The gardens have something new to see when ever we visit. We love walking or biking around to look at the plants. The butterfly and birds of prey exhibits are great. Of course Fantasy in Lights during the holidays... More

Have to start off with, do not miss the birds of prey show. They do a great job and it is fun to have them fly inches from you head or like one guy, hit you with its wing. Lol. From the views to butterfly house, it is a relaxing place to take in the landscaping and gardens and lake.

I'm writing this review to warn people like myself not to stay anywhere at callaway gardens other than the Lodge/Spa. This is a Marriott hotel so you don't always see it as part of the callaway packages. Alll the other places to stay are straight out of 1970. The Mountain Creek Inn is a roadside motel, nothing more. The fact... More

We started our day at the Callaway Gardens spa. We each got a 50 minute massage. At first I thought the rates were a little high, but we were well pampered with passion fruit infused water, tea, and a eucalyptus steam bath! After that we road a portion of the paved bike trail and went to the butterfly garden. We... More

Recently visited and had not been in more years than we'll admit. We really enjoyed the activities and shows, including the Birds of Prey show and the Butterfly House. Spent a day at the beach area just relaxing - seemed like all the things you'd want in a lake/beach/pavilion combination. We just enjoyed a place to relax and read books.... More

The property is beautiful and there is plenty to do. The attractions can get expensive, but we enjoyed our visit. The kids are fine with swimming in the lake, but the smell is a little to much for me.

If you're a big city person; be prepared to have no wifi signal at the park, be prepare to brake often, get a map at the park entrance.
