This is definitely the place to stop before you begin a tour of Marietta, or even if you have visited many times. It's housed in the old train station, and you have to cross the tracks to get to the center from the parking lot. As other reviewers have said, there are LOTS of brochures and the staff of locals/volunteers... More

Great place to stop by for your first (or 50th) visit, always something new to learn about Marietta and the area. Information available about the Marietta Square (shops, restaurants, events) as well as surrounding areas. As the staff and volunteers are local, they often have insider tips about best times to visit, suggestions for other activities, and helpful tips (parking,... More

The docents in the visitors center are always helpful and informative and the building itself is beautiful with wide wood floors and brick walls. There is a huge assortment of brochures for Marietta history and points of interest along... More

Staid, too prism and proper - be warm and welcoming - it'll help keep us around longer! Plenty of brochures and restrooms available.

Great way to start a little vaca in Marietta. We loved this town, and it's quiet, quaint charming square. Welcome center was most helpful in giving suggestions of things to do while in town.

A one stop shop for all information for any visitor to the area looking for something to do. The ladies working there were... More

Walked in to see what information i could find on marietta. The one lady working there was very very nice. She had lots of good suggestions and knew the history of Marietta Square well. there are lots of pamphlets to choose from for other Georgia locations. Nice place to stop. Extremely friendly staff!
