Stop here for information on all the attractions in town and meet the wonderful people who work there. They know EVERYTHING and are so happy to share the information. There are also bathrooms here, which are great before you start walking around Marietta.

I still visit the Marietta Welcome Center when I re-visit the city. My family gets a nostalgic feeling from visiting here. It includes an old train station, memorabilia from the early-1800s up to around WWII and very helpful ladies. In one of the glass cases is a 45 cal Thompson submachine gun used in WWII by a soldier from Marietta.... More

This is a must see building on the Marietta, GA square. The old depot (train stop) is right outside its doors. The ladies that work here are very knowledgeable about things of interest in the area. You will see the Gone With the Wind museum right next store. Good people watching along with great resturants and quiant shops.

The gals staffing this Marietta Welcome Center are so helpful. They know where to direct visitors based on the expressed interests & desires. And while they pull together a quick packet of helpful info, your kids & hubby can browse the history of Marietta and other items available for purchase. --- Takes only minutes to receive great info to take... We were in town for a baseball tournament and thought we would see a little history of the town. It was a small museum but loaded with memorabilia from 1800's to 1970's It was a nice stop on our way to Kennesaw mountain.

Nestled in the old train depot is this very nice visitors center. The people who work there are extremely helpful. We had just moved to the area and the young lady that was working there gave us a lot of ideas for things to do in Marietta and beyond. If you are looking for written material this is the place...
