I am from Marietta and I was/am excited to see how the Square is being revitalized. It is definitely a lot of history on the Square itself. It seems every weekend something's going on and the activities are very diverse...it is definitely something for everyone!!!

I love going to Marietta Square early on a Saturday morning. Grab a "Cool Beans" cup of coffee, find a bench under a tree and watch the "magic" of 50 plus venders set up their booth. And than the aroma of cooking bacon fills the air signaling it's time. Time to stroll - look - buy - taste - laugh... More

We love to go there. It has been a favorite spot for quite a long time when my kids were toddlers and we just grab some ice cream and play at the park. Great place for concerts.. good food around and reasonable shopping

Lots of events on the weekends - especially for families. Diverse crowd. Lots of restaurants and vendors not open, however. Seems they would want the business, but perhaps window shoppers?

We saw the performance of "August: Osage County" this week, and were really impressed with the quality of the entire show. It is a difficult, 3-hour play (2 intermissions!) and the actors pulled it off beautifully. What a show! We were so sorry to lose the previous theatrical ensemble when the Theatre in the Square failed a few years ago,... More

Typical city square. A small park suitable for kids in the middle. Nice walk with a few things to see.

Marietta Square is a fun place to visit with a great schedule of festivals, art shows, and concerts. It offers a variety of restaurants from basic pizza to more gourmet fusion cuisine. The shops are eclectic and fun. This is a great place for a Girls Day Out. Parking is limited to 2 hours.

The square is an eclectic mix of a small southern courthouse square with a mix of shops, restaurants and museums that are worth the time to visit. I would very much recommend making the square part of any visit to Marietta. Don't be afraid of parking issues. On every visit we have been able to find parking close to our... More
