This Square is the social hub of Marietta. Along with the Court House, 40-50 eateries, and frequent gatherings for fun and music, it's a delightful place to just experience. There are numerous unique shops for antiques, gifts, spices, and ice cream. From May through September there are free, family friendly, monthly music offerings in the bandstand. Everyone just brings a... More

Just visited this past weekend with my daughter to do some pre-holiday shopping. We did some antiquing, stopped into sugar cakes for a crossiant, and bought a first edition book at one of the shoppes. The square has something to offer for everyone, including a theater, multiple restaurants, and places to shop

It's a great way to spend a few hours and purchase some wholesome produce and farm to table items for your household.

The square is where you'll find charming shops with everything from incredible pizza to eclectic clothing and furniture. I can spend hours going from one shop to the other and never see everything. Make sure you take in a show, music in the square and the museum as well as sample the fine restaurants in the area.

. . . set aside some time to walk around the Square and just chill . . . there are antique shops, theaters, and beaucoup restaurants to satisfy anyone tastes. The Square itself is crisscrossed with sidewalks , benches, and a few historical markers; nearby are several small museums . . . all in all, it's relaxing, and a great... More

I love going to the Marietta square because it is beautiful unique setting. I had my daughters senior pictures taken here because there were so many different backgrounds that would work. We had pictures on the railroad, up against old brick walls and cool archways. The shopping and food are wonderful too! I love to go to the farmers market... More

This is a nice small area in marietta. There are many restaurants surrounding it -- burger joints, cafés, etc. Every weekend they have an open market set up. The square has a train play area for the kids which they could climb--no slides or swings though. It's a nice area to go to on weekends especially for the free parking.... More

Great place to just relax or visit the restaurants or shops just off the square. The Marietta square is one of the few "small" town squares that have not changed

I like the variety of non-chain restaurants and shops. All are local restaurants, theatres and gift shops. They each bring their own flavor to the square. Some of my favorites are Taqueria Tsunami, Famiglias, and Schillings. The downside to the square is that there is limited parking and there in lies why I sometimes choose another area to go out...
