We ate dinner at the "Chicken and the Egg" before the play. Surprisingly, the restaurant offered ONE chicken option; chicken and waffles and we could not substitute potatoes or rice for the waffles! We attended the musical play "Catch Me if you Can" and it was excellent! I would highly recommend the play. The orchestra during the performance was also... More

We frequent this place. The area reminds you of simpler times. It gets busy on a weekends but other than that its great place to stroll, eat and just spend time with your loved ones.

Marietta Square has a lot of arts and craft festivals; otherwise it's an open town square like in every county seat in Georgia. The county building is on one side, and there are three sides with antique shops, souvenir shops and of course lots of eateries. Visit first just to see all that there is and then come back for... In addition to a stroll around the square or just using a park bench, we enjoy eating at the variety of restaurants and visiting the small stores. It is well located for visits to Kennesaw Mountain and Battlefields, Marietta Civil... More

This is a wonderful place to go to see a small southern square. My wife and I were married in the gazebo one May and even thou the park was packed, everyone was so very respectful! We have wonderful memories there and go back often .

The Marietta Square is a great little area for shopping, eating, going out, and or just a day in the park with your friends or family. So much to do and see packed into the square.
