Walk around Marietta square after a leisurely meal of outside seating in the nearby restaurants. With beautiful lights, diverse passersby, and lovely window shopping. Have a pleasant night out on the town without draining the bank!

Going to the Marietta Square - with its centered flowing fountain, old-fashioned bandstand, romantic gazebo, tiny children's playground, historic monuments, brick walkways and benches - is relaxing, quiet, and beautiful. Yet it also hosts free evening concerts, changing historic displays, and arts & crafts shows.

Well worth a stop to walk thru. The town of Marietta has always maintained the square as a point of interest and it signifies a place to gather and relax. Decorated for all holidays and occasions, it is always changing its appearance.

Lovely town square with many restaurants and varied shops and art galleries. Something for everyone here. Good place to visit while you are here or bring friends when they visit you. Lots of history in this area too.

My husband and I enjoyed walking around the outskirts of the square - lots of little shops and restaurants. Sauntering through the park was even better. They were setting up for a Civil War event that night and the next day and everyone was so friendly. It is approximately 10 minutes off the Interstate. Parking was easy. It was a... More

Marietta Square is always a beautiful place to visit with lots of family friendly events. Our family loves the restaurants and the Earl Smith Strand Theatre. We try to attend most of the shows. During the summer, the concerts are a real bonus. When visiting Atlanta, you have to take a short drive to the Marietta Square. It's a special... More

Visiting a friend in Kennesaw who suggested we visit to hear music on the square. Found parking, ate in local restaurant, would go back again when we are in the area. The square is in excellent condition, the greenery and flowers were attractive, there is lots to see and do and we were impressed.

We love it. Good eateries and lovely shops, beautiful green area with huge fountain, gazebos, bandstand and stationary train for the little ones to play on. A slice of old town Americana that our family values greatly. Parking is still a problem at night. Very busy on weekends. We love the Farmers Markets and local craft fairs. A great place!!!
