Restaurants, theater, stores, park, fountain and even a farmer's market on Saturday. Free music on one Friday night per month during the summer. Very nicely redeveloped. Take the kids to play in the park then walk across the street on the North side and buy them an ice cream. Take your date to dinner then a walk on the park... More

My great Grandson had a great time on the scaled down locomotive 'General' and fishing for leaves in the fountain. We ate at two restaurants, reviewed elsewhere on TA, poked into a couple of the shops, and strolled... More

So many charming shops and restaurants. Excellent farmers Market and concerts in the square. Has a homey feel while also being contemporary.

We ate dinner at the "Chicken and the Egg" before the play. Surprisingly, the restaurant offered ONE chicken option; chicken and waffles and we could not substitute potatoes or rice for the waffles! We attended the musical play "Catch Me if you Can" and it was excellent! I would highly recommend the play. The orchestra during the performance was also... More

We frequent this place. The area reminds you of simpler times. It gets busy on a weekends but other than that its great place to stroll, eat and just spend time with your loved ones.
