This is a fantastic place for kids and adults to see animals. You are able to get up close and personal with the animals...many you can reach out and touch/pet and feed. This provides a great educational opportunity especially for young kids.

Our family took 4 toddlers under 4 and they had a great time petting and feeding the animals. We took along carrots, apple slices, and crackers (bread is not allowed for digestive issue reasons). You can also purchase these foods in the gift shop. The cages were clean and animals appeared to be healthy. However, i do feel the bear... More

We had a great time seeing all the animals and feeding them, I just find it a bit unkept. A little pricey for a family of 6 for an hour. Playground not up to par or safe with all the under brush needs some updating.

If you look beyond the surface, you can determine this park is abusive to animals. The large animal habitats are confining. The bear enclosure is on concrete and the animals pitifully beg for food all day. Many of the animals and enclosures are covered in feces. The deer population and those animals that roam freely seem content, but I wouldn't... More

I lived in Loganville in the 90's and have sooooo many fond memories taking my grandchildren and friends here. The next time I come back to Loganville, I hope to have time to go back and reminisce. It is a fabulous place to go for young and old!!!

Great for kids. Many animals roam the ranch and kids can touch and feed them. Best for younger kids (toddler to elementary school age).

We were looking for something to do with our grandsons in the Atlanta area on a hot summer day, so we visited this game ranch in the late morning. A variety of animals, some wild and some domesticated and also different fowl were housed in a variety of pens, and you followed some trails through the ranch to observe the... More

I have been taking my children and now my grandchildren to the Yellow River Game Ranch for probably over 25 years. It used to be more of a petting zoo where the deer roamed freely and came up to you. Now they are all behind wire. There used to be a rabbit area where people could go in and pet... More

This is a very old, run-down facility. With care and some re-investment, it could be saved. However, the 'enclosures' are mainly wire animal runs with little or no thought shown for the animals' well-being. The animals seem depressed and their spaces are dirt and rocks. Even the hay on the ground is trampled and muddy. The paths are poorly kept-up... More

We go to The Yellow River Game Ranch every time we come through that area, it's always a treat to see and feed the animals. I was however disappointed last time, it was the end of Oct and there was absolutely no deer. Usually they are everywhere. My favorite is the chipmunks and the bears.
