It's really a beau ridge but vandals have ruined it. I would recommend going just be prepared for the graffiti. I wonder why no one has cleaned it up.

The drive to the bridge is really nice. However when we looked at the bridge we were like why were we even looking for the bridge. I wouldn't recommend this on a 'To Do' list.

This bridge is not the original but has been reconstructed and sadly marred by graffiti. Disappointing that people probably from the area have such disrespect for this attraction.

It makes me sad that someone spray painted all over this old covered bridge. It is still a must see.

Unfortunately you should just drive on by this covered bridge. It is covered in graffiti and that is entirely a shame. Not sure if it is worth keeping or not, but the county that it resides in has determined to let it go, as is evidenced by not caring how much graffiti covers it.

This is just not a "thing" to worry about on your bucket list. I have hunted and visited many many bridges over the south including this one. It's simply a bridge off the main road that goes no where. It may have been part of the road at one point, now it appears to be a bridge sat in a... More

Beautiful drive to covered bridge with leaves at peak. Was disappointed at the graffiti on such a historical site. Some effort should be spent on maintaining this old gem.

I have no idea how this ended up on any "to do" list. This sad little bridge has been forgotten by time. The bridge is old and sturdy, famous from a 1930's movie I've never heard of, and completely covered in graffiti. The drive to the bridge is quite lovely, especially in the fall. Otherwise, I certainly wouldn't go out... More

There were allowed sorts of signs saying to stay clear, and then signs talking about the views and it's significance. Mixed message as willing as the parking area being some distance away and not explaining that this was the parking area. I bet 100% of the people drive right by it and then turn around and come back to it,... More

Glad bridge still up. Sad about the graffi all over it. Near Old Satauee store, almost missed. Had to turn around because we went right past it the first time.
