We stopped on a side day trip to take pictures of the covered bridge. It was easy access and good place for a short stop. The bridge and info plaque were interesting.

we were very sad that the bridge was covered by graffiti, done by people with no respect for others or themselves. Very easy to find. Nice place to park to see it. Pretty stream.

It's such a shame that a piece of history has almost been destroyed by all the graffiti that covers it. The setting is lovely, but clearly the bridge has not been maintained and has been allowed to fall into complete disrepair. It's not worth a visit until something is done to bring it back to its original state. Right now,... More

A "cute" smaller covered bridge dating back to late 19th century. The sad part, visitors have covered the interior walls with graffiti . . .

Ok, this is not the best covered bridge I have seen but it was easy to find and worth a few minutes time. My wife, my brother, and I stopped there after visiting the Mark of the Potter. Unfortunately, this restoration has been poorly treated by some who apparently have no respect for such attractions--initials, names, locations painted on nearly... More

Don't have high expectations. This is a very old, and not very attractive covered bridge which was built in the 1890's. However, a covered bridge is a rare sight in the United States and is a link to our past. A far more attractive covered bridge with a lattice design can be found at Pool's Mill Park in Cumming., GA... More

This picturesque, restored covered bridge next to highway 255 near Skylake Drive is interesting to see. The river that it crosses is scenic with lots of rocks. People play in the river in warmer months. Don't try to get to the river from the bank northeast of the highway bridge though. A resident sits on his porch there yelling at... More

A replica of a reproduction built alongside the roadway. Utterly uninteresting. Shoddily done. Not easy to find. Would never go back.

OK, it is a covered bridge. There is no movie or iPhone interpretive app. There is grafitti on it placed there by kids with more time than brains and phones that are “smart” beyond their own intellect. But it is very close to Helen and very easy to find. There is a nice place to pull over and spend a... More
