This is a quarter mile walk up to a beautiful waterfall...it is in a park ideal for picknics and fishing, even has a lake and beach. just over an hour from north atlanta...Same area has tubing but it is crowed and sometimes not enough water.. A german bakery in town is the place for lunch, Bettys store is the place... More

Boyfriend and I hiked the Smith-Creek Tail to Anna Ruby Falls. It was stunning! Even in July the weather was cool and crisp up on the mountain. They say that it takes 6 hours, but we did it in 4 including a 30 minute picnic/break when we reached the falls before heading back. We are both in reasonably good shape,... More

Enjoyed the park and drove through the park to see a breathtaking view of the waterfalls. Take a walking stick and hike up and enjoy the splendid view. Take pictures to share. Buy a stick at the gift shop, if you don't have one. Picnic in the area, enjoy nature. Beautiful, relaxing, serene, refreshing.

Several trails for hiking options. Lake trail and Anna Ruby Falls trails esp nice. Interesting barrel cabins; cabin groups A, B & C are too close to each other if you want isolation but good if you're with a group. Park is well-maintained. Unicoi seems more scattered, less active, therefore quieter midweek than others. Could have more directional signs with... More

Sign up for their email alerts and receive GREAT deals on stays here. If you're staying elsewhere, this park is still worth a visit. We've stayed at both the lodge and barrel cabins in the past and liked them both. Nothing fancy, and are a bit old, but we're ok with that. The dining room is pretty good, breakfast isn't... More

We drove through parts of the park and visited the Anna Ruby Falls. Everything looks so clean and beautiful. Lots of pay stations tho. But worth it. There are stairs to the fishing piers on the lake, smooth paths in various places, camping and lodging areas too. Very nice!

We stayed in a full RV hookup site and the entire stay was great! The shade is unbelievable here. Temps were supposed to feel like 95+ while we were there but we were never too hot to be outside! And night was completely dark. So fun to be able to sit by the fire with no street lights and sleep... More

We have stayed here several times and are never disappointed. We like the lodge that has two beds and a loft for the kids. The grounds are quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. There is a restaurant on site as well as a tavern. The tavern is opened for light meals and is connected to the gift shop. The staff is super... More

Up for the weekend with family, including kids who really wanted to rent pedal boats and kayaks on the lake. We confirmed the rental hours at the lodge on Friday (11a-5p daily) and headed over at 12:30p on Saturday. After paying $5 to park and walking down to the rental area we saw a sign on the rental window saying... More

I'm laying here now and about to get the guys up for breakfast and church before heading home. I could live here but I admit the 4 bears we saw last night was a small concern. Just don't leave food or coolers out. There's a bear proof box for a reason. Anyhow after 5 years of traveling to camp sites... More
