We couldn't have asked for better weather. Hiking trails were great. The lake was beautiful. I got so many fabulous pictures! Enjoyed it so much and can hardly wait to return!

The Unicoi state park is very pretty in October, there is some nice hiking nearby. I would not recommend the barrel cabins, we were originally put in on of those (B6), it was depressing, dark, damp, cold and the heating system didn't work. Bulbs in light figures were too low a wattage, many rooms were very dark, too dark to... More

The lodge at Unicoi State Park is a nice place to stay, no special amenities. Hiking trails were fabulous! We didn't like the looks of the buffet in the restaurant, so headed to Helen to eat instead. Friendly & informative staff.

Just a nice state park that makes you feel a million miles away from Atlanta. Nice size lake to look at and good woods to stroll through.

Unicoi is absolutely beautiful. We rented a pavilion (#7) for our daughter's birthday. The pavilion was right next to the lake and the dam. The pavilion had plenty of room, 2 grills, a water spigot and electricity. There were restrooms right across the parking lot so they were very close. Also there was a small concrete path leading down to... More

We camped here in Late September, the weather was perfect, 70's during the day and 50's at night. The park seems to be well taken care of, the bathrooms were clean. It's a little off season, so the boats were not able to be rented and the shop had limited hours. We got a double site and it was perfect... More

Great for walking and getting some fresh mountain air. Then on to Anna Ruby Falls. Wish that I had more time to rent a canoe or paddleboat with my wife.
