Well run operation and the price can't be beat--only $5 a person for the 1 hour 15 minute tube float. We had 9 folks ages 10 to 60 and all had a good time. The river was a little high so the rocks did not present much of a problem. Recommend you go on a weekday and in the morning... More

The people were really nice and it would have been really fun if they would actually tell you that its not a place to take children. They make you believe its ok because it says 5 and up on the website for kayaking. So we took my 6 yr old and my 12 yr old. If the child can not... More

River a little low. Go early in morning to avoid crowded river. Beautiful and shaded. Recommend a stick

After a hot day hiking or surviving the stairs at Tallulah Gorge, the river feels great but don't expect a relaxing tube ride. You'll be laughung as you get hung up on rocks and others get hung up on you! Push poles are a must and water shoes too. It's a wet workout and fun! If you don't have a... More

Whether you are tubing or just watching the tubers go by, this is great fun. I went on a trip with my fiance and we "tubed the Hooch" twice, but probably the most fun we had was standing on the bridge watching tubers go down the small rapids. You get to see a lot of people falling out of tubes,... More

If you're in Helen in the summer, and need a place to cool off, grab a tube from one of the local places and shoot the hooch. The river running through Helen is very mild, but cool and shaded.

OUr hotel room overlooked the river where we spent a lot of time just enjoying the sound of the water and cool breezes. It was also entertaining watching the tubers float by our houtel.

The Flea Market tubing is the LONGER and Better ride! You enter 'up river' - before the 'other' tubing company and you ride longer , and exit the river - further down - after the blue/green tubes have already been out of the river. We have been doing this for over 10 years! The $3.00 price can't be beat! Also... More

Pack your fishing gear for some trout fishing. Easy access to the river from multiple points in Helen, GA. The water is very cold so waders are recommended. If not into fishing, try the tubing. On a hot day, the cold water will cool you down FAST! There are some swift water spots as well as slow drifting areas to... More
