My husband and I hiked this last week. We thought it was one of the most scenic hikes we have ever taken in Georgia. We loved climbing up the tree roots at the end to get to the top of the cliff. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because I really would have liked a... More

We hiked to Raven Cliffs falls whine spending a ling weekend in Helen. Given it was a Thursday we saw about 20 other hikers the entire trip. Very peaceful and water volume was great due to the rainy spring we've had in North Georgia. This hike takes several hours round trip so bring water and take a break at some... More

This is a trail that is near and dear to my heart. It is a good length at almost 5 miles. The difficulty is easy to moderate. Quite enjoyable due to the scenery. The trail is an in and out, but due to it following water nearly the entire time the hike is just as fun on the way out.... More

Loved the walk up. The creek as along the path most of the time. Really enjoyed that. Would see people camping along the path. Would see a few small falls on the way up. But was expecting a nice big fall at the top. It was hidden between the two tall rocks. STill worth the visit! GA's gem!

Raven Cliffs Falls trail offers a very scenic (5 total miles in-and-out) creekside route. Consider allotting approximately 3 hours for a moderate pace hike with some time to sit and enjoy the falls at the end of the trail. Although the trail itself is easy, it is very rugged and covered with tree roots and small rocks making it challenging... More

Terrific, long hike. Not difficult, but very scenic. Great for dogs and older kids. Would be beautiful any time of year.

This was my first real trail. I was born and raised in South Florida, so trails like this just don't exist down south. I was amazed by the beauty of it. There's several waterfalls before the actual Raven Cliffs and all of them are beautiful. The trail was easy to me. I had no problem navigating over little streams, and... More

Just hiked this 2.5 mile in and out trail this weekend. The entire trail runs along side a beautiful, bubbly creek which provides lots of photo opportunities and I'm sure it's heavily occupied in the summer with folks who come for a swim. Multiple small waterfalls are along the way, so you can certainly see some beautiful sites without doing... More

My daughter and I enjoyed the hike to the falls on such a beautiful day. The out and back trail was not technical but enough to feel you had done something.
