A moderate to strenuous hike to awesome falls! Cool pools at the base of the falls to refresh your feet. Don't miss this.

Amazing views secluded campsites! It was awesome to be somewhere that quiet... Until other campers showed up and decided to bring all the modern conveniences with them. Its nature don't wreck it man.

This moderate, five mile hike is very dog friendly. The best part is that it follows a stream with small waterfalls along the way so you don't have to do the entire hike to enjoy beautiful scenery. The trail ends at the cliffs, which have plenty of boulders to sit and enjoy the waterfall that is tucked in the crevices.... More

Well the adventure was a little different today…had a great ride over Burnt Mountain to Amicalola and Dahlonega then through Cleveland heading to Raven Cliff Falls. Highway 348 is a gem of a motorcycle road and I will be back with a different plan of attack…but today, it was all about the hike! Raven Cliff Falls is a state park... More

We love western NC for all the great hikes and beautiful waterfalls but I must confess, Ravencliffs is one of the best I have seen. The hike is 2.5 miles one way but it follows a beautiful stream. We went early and had it to ourselves. As we hiked out, though, we passed many visitors. At the end of the... More

It is five miles round trip. We did it with two kids 8 & 10 and a yorkie. It was long and muddy and long but a super awesome workout. The payoff wasnt great I think. I couldnt climb at the end because of my doggie but still would highly.

Raven Cliff Falls is so beautiful. It is a well maintained trail that follows the river all the way. There are little access points to get close to the river bank, small waterfalls to swim in, and lovely forest greenery along the way. It is 2.5 miles in AND back out... So plan for about 2 hours or so to... More

No one told us that it was 2.5 up and 2.5 down! Would've thought twice about it, but it was great, absolutely awesome. Beautiful, so cool with all the tall canopy trees. Just take plenty of water to drink, when they say backpack, they mean backpack! This is not for novice hikers.

This was one of my favorite hikes I've done. Really great hike to do with kids, especially, given the fact that it follows creeks the entire the way. (About 5 miles roundtrip) A few people have mentioned that the waterfall at the end isn't worth the hike but personally, I think I'd rather a great hike with much interest along... More

This is a beautiful fairly easy trail along the creek. A few stones and branches keep the trail interesting but it is doable by anyone who is in decent shape including my 8 year old daughter. Plenty of spits to dip your feet, or more into the cool stream. Do not miss this trail! Another bonus is how close it... More
