This trek was so much fun especially when the temperature was in low 30s. It was really cold when we begun. Beware the start of the trek isnt marked but therez just one trail. Also its a FREE attraction. Yeyyyy !! Its a 2 hr trek for around 5mile walk. There are no signs anywhere even at the destination. The... More

This is an intermediate hike with the roundtrip length of around 5 miles. Most of the trail runs along the river/creek and crosses several small brooks filtering into the larger waterway. Mild elevation changes add some needed exertion along an otherwise pretty easy trail. Upon reaching the main falls, you can climb to the top of the falls if you're... More

This was our first hike in Georgia, and it was a balmy 27 degrees when we started from the trailhead. That made it a cold trip for us Floridians, but we loved every minute of it. Starting off at the trailhead it is sort of an uphill trek, but that doesn't last long. You will go up in elevation, but... More

The hike up to the falls isn't bad at all. My family and I go up here multiple times during the year and it is so beautiful!

Wear good shoes/hiking boots. Bring water and snacks. This hike took us four hours round trip to complete (we spent approximately 15 minutes climbing around the top of the falls). The hike is gorgeous with many opportunities to step off the trail and dip your toes into the river. For the first mile of the trail, there are several campsites... More

This was a very enjoyable trail. It is what I would consider easy in terms of elevation gain, however there are many roots along the path, so bring good footwear so as not to stub a toe or twist an ankle. I believe there is about a 400 foot elevation gain, and it is spread out, there are some uphill... More

The hike in isn't too bad, especially when we went in November. There were a bit of muddy river and creek crossings, so I would suggest wearing at least hiking boots or an old pair of tennis shoes (I'm telling you because I saw people in Ugg boots and nice shoes). The hike isn't a very hard hike, a few... More

Raven Cliff Falls was worth the hike, however know before you go good hiking boots/shoes are necessary as the erosion of dirt had exposed a lot of tree roots and uneven trails. It is a fantastic hike along Dodd Creek, the moving water was relaxing along the 2 1/2 mile hike to the bluff. If you go when it's hot... More
