The hike to the falls is considered a moderate trail. Unless you have some physical problems, you should be fine. The view of the falls at the top is worth the steep climb. It's only 4/10 of a mile up the hill with benches a long the way so just take your time going up. Plus, it's a lovely walk... More

Worth a visit. There is a charge to enter the state Park and a further chare for the Falls! Only $8 in all however. Go at 9am out of season and have the falls to your selves. It's about half a mile each way from the car park and quite steep in place outward. Wheel chairs and prams would be... More

Even though it was pouring down rain we decided to walk to the falls. Its about a half mile walk but worth it. The road is paved so its not hard. The rangers were so nice too. They even offered me an umbrella.

Nice family activity if in Helen Georgia. Falls were beautiful, amazing to see in person. Not recommended if handicapped or very elderly. Although short hike up, had steep areas

The hike was easy on the paved surface. Our 3 yr old had no trouble walking the whole way. The whole walk is surrounded by beautiful scenery. Worth the small fee!

Just outside the quaint city of Helen, GA is the stunningly beautiful Anna Ruby Falls nestled in the Chattahoochee National Forest. This beautiful park offers hiking, camping, picnicking, cabins, and a lake. All of these amenities compliment the gorgeous Anna Ruby Falls. Less that a quarter walk from the parking lot is the beauty of the falls. There are numerous... More

I'm in my 60's and it was a challenge near the end to get to the falls, but I forged ahead and took my time and finally reached them.It was well worth the pain in the thighs to get there. You can do it if I could. My husband is a bit older and went half way up, but still... More

Easy trail for old and young alike. Beautiful walk along a creek with gorgeous waterfalls at the end of the trail. Only takes and hour or so (longer if you stop and admire the scenery and take photos).

We were blown away that there are such beautiful falls less than 2hrs outside of Atlanta. The hike is super short and paved. Very easy to do with kids are senior adults.
