The trail is a short hike (0.8 miles roundtrip) on a paved path. There is a steep incline which can be difficult for the less physically prepared. The trail is shaded and cool, even in mid summer. The falls and scenery are beautiful, and its just a short ride from Helen.

Great day trip from Helen GA. (Interesting - the park is a state park and Anna Ruby Falls is a federal park.). The park was nice, the trail to the falls was paved and well kept, a pleasant walk with a gentle to moderate incline, nice foliage lined walk so there is shade even on hot days. Small, but very... These falls were much more spectacular than expected. Three falls cascade after a brief hike up. There is a great gift shop with very personable, well informed, friendly staff.

During our stay at Unicoi state park, we visited Anna Ruby Falls. It is very close to the park and easy to access. The trail is well paved, but a bit steep. It might be a challenge for some, but the view is worth it. It is absoulutely spectacular and one of few twin falls. I highly recommend the time... More

This is a simple shaded hike with several areas to stop to take in the beauty. The rushing waters can be heard at the beginning of your journey to the twin falls observation deck. I believe the fee was $3.00 per person. They also have a nice gift shop with snacks and drinks. Very informative information posted on their bulletin... More

This park north of Unicoi is a great little hike. You will need to pay a separate entrance fee so have some cash on hand ($3/pp ages 16 and older). Once you drive up to the visitor center, the paved path is only 0.5 miles up to the observation decks at the base of the falls. Really not a bad... More

The falls were awesome. Its a 0.4 mile hike up hill to the falls. There were postings on the trail on the hike up telling all about the falls. There is a souvenir shop there as well. There is a boat ramp, picnic area and restrooms available.

Easy hike up to a breath taking waterfall. The hike is on a paved trail less than a mile. Beautiful walk beside the river. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Went early and got there just as they opened - it got crowded quickly, so early is best! The path up was not difficult at all, lots of nice places to stop for pictures. The falls were very nice and worth the trip up to see them!

You can hear the water as soon as you start the hike but you can't imagine how beautiful it is until you get there. Its a short and interesting hike up to the falls. Well worth the trip. Kids under 16 are free to get in - so just 3$ per adult. Snack bar and restrooms available before the trails.
