We have been vacationing at Lake Oconee for many years and one of the attractions of spending Christmas and NYE at the Lake was the fireworks at Reynolds. We use to stay here every year so that we could really enjoy the area and the NYE fireworks; well they cancelled them this year as they don't want non guests attending.... More

This course was my favorite of the 3 at Reynolds Plantation my group played. Great Waters is also an awesome course but I just liked Oconee a little more.

I spent three days here on a buddy golf trip. You get a little nervous when you are driving here because you are basically out in the middle of now where......but, once you get here your fine. There is a Publix, liquor store and all the other amenities of home for you. We had breakfast at the Oconee Clubhouse and... More

If you are not a golfer, look for a different venue. However, if you love golf, you may have found Paradise! Reynold's offers four beautiful, manicured, exciting, challenging and terrific courses! Each of them has a different look and topography but all are equally exciting to play. We stayed in a "cottage" on the grounds (really a condo owned by... More

DO NOT select this resort unless you are an avid golfer!!! As you read all the wonderful reviews about this resort you will note quickly that the vast majority of them relate to the golfing facilities. That is all well and good unless you react to their advertising and web site and fall trap to the notion that this would... More

This resort area gets an A+ in my book. The lake itself is maintained by Georgia Power, so it will never flood or get too low. There are miles of shoreline, with gorgeous homes nestled on good sized lots, and the developers kept the trees! There are various communities with awesome golf courses, beautiful pools, tennis, work out centers, etc.... More

2nd time visiting Reynolds Plantation and overall a really good experience. Played Landing course for the first time and although some of the fairways were beat up (only reason I rated four circles instead of five), greens were in great shape and layout had some great holes along the lake. Then played 27 holes the next day on Oconee course... More

What would you like to do? Boat on Lake Oconee, golf on your choice of three course, take a few hours at the spa, hike, bike, swim or eat delishious menu items. All the are available at your fingertips, and this is a beautiful place to enjoy all of these. Tip #1 try the swing on the enormous swing nestled... More

We have been visiting Reynolds Plantation since the early 1990s and moved here permanently in 1999. What a great place to call home. The people are wonderful and the amenities are world class. The golfing, boating/fishing, dining, and cultural events are amazing. We never want to leave.

Reynolds Plantation is the name of the area that you can rent a condo, house, or cottage and enjoy the amenities provided. Make sure you check to make sure the amenities are provided. There are LOTS of restaurants both inside the plantation at the clubhouses as well as the Ritz. Do not discount all of the restaurants around the area... More
