Vast and diverse fresh food options. Fruits I have never heard of. Great for fresh seafood and meat. Beautiful flower arrangements and great dessert, cheese and and chocolate selections. VERY CROWDED on weekends and evenings. I recommend going in the mornings during the week.

Something from everywhere! Colorful with flags from nations represented to the bright colors of fruits and veggies, you enter a feast for the eyes when you go through the DFM doors. At times around holidays you will find traffic jams of shopping carts in the aisles. I suggest going as early as possible if you want to make a quick... More

I love this place. The fish department is amazing. The poultry & meat deptartment is fantastic. The fruits & vegetables are awesome. The prices are very good. I gave it 4 stars because it is too crowded most of the time particularly on weekends. The parking lot is crazy when crowded, hard to park.

We finally got to go over to the market this past Friday and could not believe our eyes when we were there. So much to look at and choose from and you simply must take your time to see this one. Take a cooler with ice along so the refrigerated items can be on ice for the ride home and... More

Fun place to shop for teas, spices and unique items. Great price on loose leaf tea and spices. Some of the produce prices were comparable to your typical grocer, but overall most prices store wide are MUCH better value. Everything I bought was very fresh and great quality. The Ceylon Jasmine loose tea is just fantastic. I went on a... More

HOLY GUACAMOLE!! This place has everything from everywhere!! You should definitely stop by while you're in ATL, you'll wish your town had a spot like this. Acres of fresh produce, so much fresh seafood (the lobsters we cooked up were so fresh!), and a huge area for meat. The cheese selection was out of this world (we're huge cheese fans),... More

The DeKalb Farmer's market is a great place to find those rare spices and herbs, along with seafood, fish, and meat cuts that you won't find in a chain grocery. The place is jam packed on Saturdays, so if you can go during the week, please do. Also keep in mind, they ONLY accept cash or debit. NO credit cards.

This is THE place to go for fresh herbs and spices. You name it, they've probably got it. I also love their fresh breads made daily. Bring cash or a debit card for payment. If you get chilled easily then bring a jacket too because it can be cold inside.

Amazing place but bring a coat and cash (they will take debit and do have an ATM). Lots of specialty spices for real CHEAP.. stock your hotel up with food for the week and you will not be disappointed

Love, Love, Love the Dekalb Farmers Market. Love the quality of the food, the prices of the food, the variety and the people.....its' very alive and nourishing to go there. One of the reasons I don't want to move from Atlanta is this Farmers Market. I could not put my finger on why it feels that way in there until... More
