I just love being immersed in the atmosphere! Diverse shoppers, staff, and perishable and none perishable item selections. Organized and indoors. The chaos is usually from the diverse people hustling about looking for the items on their grocery list. Fresh fruit Fresh produce Every type of spice/seasoning you could ever imagine fresh seafood fabulous wine selection (for an amateur like... More

I was turned on to this shop by a local, and the entire store seemed to be filled (it was filled) with locals who knew their way around this excellent food shop. As other reviews have stated, the selection is impressive, especially the wide range of spices and produce. This store is not your upscale, fancy grocery with chandeliers and... More

Best to go on a weekday, unless you're looking for the crowd experience. Best prices for produce, and a majority of it is organic. The most organic food anywhere. Grab a cart on the way in from the parking lot, because you'll probably want to buy more than you thought. If you cannot find something, ask a worker. They'll understand,... More

This is the only place I can go to shop for an exotic meal and get everything in one place. I consider this my one stop shop. Be aware of the crowds. Some folks can get down right nasty especially during the holidays. I love the fish market variety.

I am always fascinated when I shop at YDFM. The throngs of people, all the fresh vegetables, fruit, spices, seafood etc. it's an experience like none other. I can't wait to see what kind of experience their expansion is going to produce.

This is one of the best markets I have been to. They have dry goods, fruits, veggies, meat, cheese, bread, wine.... Everything is a great price, most things usually less expensive than Publix/Winn Dixie. They have all kids on interesting produce from around the world. The meat and fish market have many different options. They also have fresh flowers, a... More

Not quite a quaint little village market such as in the Andes Mountain or along the coast of Vietnam, but it has all the ingredients for Pachamanca or Bún bò Huế. And it has the natives from those and many more countries working their butts off to stock the shelves and try to direct you to what you seek. As... More

We arrived at opening time of 9am on Saturday. When doors opened there were about 75 people waiting to get in. We left 1/2 hour later, and it was already jumping. If possible, go during the week. Just be prepared that this place is SO popular and crowded! But it's worth it. The selection of fresh fruits and veggies is... More

just got back from Your DeKalb Farmers Market. Great fun shared with 2 friends. Lots of spices, breads, desserts & other unique items were picked up. I'm looking forward to trying out some new teas. Beautiful flower market too! Next time I'm visiting my friend in ATL, I'll make sure I have my list ready before heading to the market!
