I had seen the Dekalb Farmers Market on television a few years ago and visiting it was an item on my bucket list. Well I was able to check it off the list because last March wile in Atlanta for my wife's work, we were able to stop in and see it for ourselves. The way they set the different... More

Visiting the DeKalb Farmer's Market is one of the most interesting and fun things you could ever do. The variety of nationalities in the building at any time is astounding. You'll hear many different accents and languages. Perusing the variety of food is so much fun, and the food is usually at great prices, especially for spices, with lots of... More

Huge selections of meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies, grains, organic and non, plus much more. Prices and selection are far better than a Whole Foods. All sorts of fresh fish and meat, sausage (pork, chicken & turkey). Store is a zoo at times, peolple shopping and store personnel trying to restock make the aisles had to navigate. Disappointed in the bakery section,... More

I have shopped at the Dekalb market for years now. There is truly an unbeatable selection of affordable seafood and organic produce. However, the atmosphere and customer service is absolutely appalling. My husband and I are giving up on the place. The employees, especially the ones at the meat and seafood counters, are incredibly rude not to mention impossible to... More

I love this place! Although it can get very crowded at times. I still love going there to get fresh fish, veggies, and seasonings to cook with. They also have fresh ground chicken and turkey sausage, which I love. The Hot Italian chicken sausage is my favorite. Also, if you are feeling a little snacky while you are there, you... More

This has a HUGE wow factor!!! If you can imagine it you can find it here. If I lived in this area, this would be my normal place to shop for groceries. The wine section is extensive. The fruit and veggies are beautiful. The seafood is so fresh it is still swimming. Even the people watching is fun...there are so... More

As a hard core foodie, this place is a must. I go there weekly, driving half an hour out of my way just to get what I want. The sheer breadth of veggies, fish, meats, and other goodies is almost mind boggling. And the prices are amazing. Some organics and non-GMOs available, but they could offer more. Still, even if... This has got to be the largest indoor market around. You can spend hours just looking at what they have to offer. I saw fruits and vegetables that I did not even know existed. If you are in the area it is a must to see. Take a sweater it is very chilly inside

This place is a great place to visit even if you only want to see many vegetables for the first time. The selection is overwhelming but fun to see. The place is cool so bring a sweater but plan to load your cart. No credit cards so bring cash or have your check approved as you enter the store. This... More

Amazing selection and impeccably clean. Service is beyond great. For the most part, prices are a great deal, but pay attention. Fresh baked goods of every variety and fresh vegetables are abundant. Don't forget to visit the spice wall. That's right, an entire wall! Great selection of wine from all over the world, but limited selection of beer. Great hot... More
