Produce, spices, spices, spices, beer and wine, bakery, fish market, cheese market, meat market, deli, frozen, take out prepared foods, ethnic, organic and more and more. Prices are low on some and high on other items. Compare and always check expiration dates. Check out is quick and easy.... More

This market has the most diverse and interesting vegetables, baked goods, cheeses, fish, meat and poultry that you can imagine. Plus, everything's fresh. They are in the process of expanding this market to a site adjacent to the current location, so that can only be more impressive than what it is. Can't wait for the grand opening.

Just pass on their 'cafeteria' unless you are too famished - just not good. With all the fresh veggies meat and fish, go cook a great meal at home

I love going to the DeKalb Farmers Market! I live 25 miles from there but it worth the drive. My favorites: wine section - best bangs for your bucks, spices, grains and meat! Stop and visit if you love fresh! You will find anything you are looking for in fresh meats,vegetable and seafood.Bring your wallet and your jacket as this visit may be a little costly.This market boast a cold clean atmosphere and a friendly staff.Also try the cafeteria. My oh my....Simply amazing...Huge, Have anything you want ! Now on my list to always go to when in the area. You can eat lunch there. Wear a coat, gloves and maybe earmuffs....Very cold Daughter goes weekly, and we can see why. Fresh everything. Tried to buy a gift card, but they were having difficulty doing this. No place else quite like the DeKalb Farmers Market. You can find a wide array of fruits, vegetables and international food products. Huge fish market and large meat department and dairy section offering milk, eggs, yogurt and cheese. Fresh baked breads and pastries and a cafeteria serving hot food, too. No pics allowed, but a great place for getting foreign products and ingredients. Probably able get items cheaper other markets but if like making international food this the place your ingredients.
