We wanted to compare Norton wines from Alabama to Georgia & was sent to this winery from another winery in Helen, Ga. First, wine tasting cost to try thier wines. Limited to 4 or 5 tastings based on which one you buy($10.00/15.00 with glass no stem/stem wine glass). We found that for the taste & price, our Alabama wine is... More

Visited Three sisters for wine sampling and fond that they have a wonderful variety of fine wines. Something for all tastes. The pourers are well educated and can recommend a wine to suit your taste, you will leave with a new appreciation of wine.

Stopped in on a beautiful October Saturday afternoon. Crowd was expectedly large since it's a fall foliage weekend in the north Georgia mountains. Despite heavy advertising for their special fall event, they were NOT prepared. They had one person taking wine tasting sign ups and two doing the pouring. They were slow and rude. After waiting in line for over... More

I must confess we never got to the tasting part. After visiting Wolf Mtn. the rest were pitifully below their level. Dusty gravel roads, and a "main bldg." that looks like a storage shed are not exactly images that invoke Napa, LOL. I hope this is only temporary and the relatively young wine industry in N. Georgia will contine to... More

Visited a B&B in the area with my wife. Decided to stop in on Sunday afternoon. We had a great time. The scenery was beautiful, the owners were very friendly and the servers were very knowledgeable. The owners even gave my wife a cutting of a plant that she commented on. Great place.

My wife and I drove to Three Sisters Winery to participate in one of their Swine and Wine Weekends. Some of our family humor includes “Moose and Squirrel” jokes, so we chose a day when the Moose and Squirrel duo was playing. They play great “Vegas-style” music, and we enjoyed the guys immensely. It was almost a perfect Saturday with... More

Casual, laid-back winery NE of Atlanta has a low key approach and a fun atmosphere. Interesting art, friendly tasters and an outside patio plus a tented deck with live music. Interesting grape varietals make for a unique wine tasting experience.

We were on a family vacation in Dahlonega and wanted to try a few wineries. Three Sisters was the first winery we visited and almost didn't go to others because we had such a bad experience. We visited the winery on a Thursday, so it was not the weekend rush. There were about 5 groups at the tasting area (with... More

fat Boy Red will knock your socks off. The staff is knowledgeable about the process and makes time to acquaint you. Thanks to Doug and Sharon Paul for their hospitality.
