The performances vary and some are excellent and others are very ... well, not so hot! But for the price and location, we've enjoyed going to the Cumming Playhouse and we've enjoyed most performances very much.

This is a quaint old school converted into the playhouse and the fabulous Tams Restuarant. A variety of offerings at the playhouse have something for everyone. The best way to experience it is to arrive 1 1/2 hours early and enjoy Cummings best Restuarant (in my opinion). Everything on the menu is delicious! The two are in the same building... More

This renovated school building provides an excellent setting for local stage productions. It offers intimate, up close seating for a variety of plays and musicals. The building houses some interesting, historical displays as well as an upscale dining facility. I've attended numerous productions and enjoyed dining at Tams. I've arranged for group seating numerous times and I've found the staff... More

We have been to several shows at the Cumming Playhouse. It is quite good for " local " theater. It is comfortable for and old building. You can get a coffee or glass of wine during intermission. I can be a bit difficult to hear some times as they do not use microphones. Hard to beat for the price.

The Playhouse is the old High School and has a wonderful historic nature. Besides the playhouse, there is museum displays, class photos, a coffee and pastry lounge and in the basement, Tams Restaurant. Very good cuisine of Southern Delight.. The plays and musical performances are always well done and the local Atlanta drama performers are exceptional. There are Christmas programs,... More

If you are looking for a fun night out with friends, family or even for date night, check out The Cumming Playhouse. It's local with good acting and an unusual, yet historically filled atmosphere. We saw A Christmas Carol here last December and it was great! A few years ago we had a girls night out to see the Helen... More

I've been to the playhouse of couple of time. The venue in a good, intimate place to see a show. The talent of course varies with each show.

The Cumming Playhouse offers a different experience in entertainment. Located in what was originally a school auditorium, there is some type of show going on almost all the time ranging from plays put on by local theatre groups to performers from the Grand Ol' Opry. The stage is small, which limits the performers somewhat (I am a member of the... More
