If you are looking for a fun night out with friends, family or even for date night, check out The Cumming Playhouse. It's local with good acting and an unusual, yet historically filled atmosphere. We saw A Christmas Carol here last December and it was great! A few years ago we had a girls night out to see the Helen... More

I've been to the playhouse of couple of time. The venue in a good, intimate place to see a show. The talent of course varies with each show.

The Cumming Playhouse offers a different experience in entertainment. Located in what was originally a school auditorium, there is some type of show going on almost all the time ranging from plays put on by local theatre groups to performers from the Grand Ol' Opry. The stage is small, which limits the performers somewhat (I am a member of the... More

Seating was comfortable. The show started on time. Very entertaining (a tribute Beatles band). Worth the cost of admission.

What an awesome experience. The Cumming playhouse, located in the old Cumming school house is more than just a performance. It's live history. The school house is wonderfully kept, and you can just imagine yourself as a student watching a student-performance in the auditorium. We go as often as we can. Wouldn't change a thing ... and don't forget to... More

Very funny play about Mama having to travel cross country for a wedding. Many things goes wrong and all is not what you think until the end of the show. Very enjoyable.

This is a great theatre and all of the seats are comfortable and provide a good view of the stage. Have dinner at Tams before the show.

We have a group of friends who try to see every play that's being performed and we are never disappointed. All the seats are great. The actors are super. We have never been disappointed. We always arrive a bit early and visit some of the school house rooms -- no matter how many times you go, you will see something... More

I took an out of town guest to this play---what a pleasant evening! We both enjoyed the music and the story line. Especially fun were the "gymnastics on the vine"! The venue is also interesting. We spent the intermission in the library of the old school house. What a gem---I am sorry more people don't go. Great value too.
