This is one beautiful park. Most of the sites are directly on the lake but the others all have views of the lake. Serene and peaceful. We were on site 5 and it is perfect. Directly on the lake. Privacy from other sites. There is a small grocery at the entrance to the park...Striplers. It has everything you could every... More

We are Camp Hosts at the park and have been here for almost 2 months. The sites are well spaced with several right on the lake. All of the sites in Loops 1 and 2 are either on the water or have a water view. Loop 3 is across the road from the lake but the sites are all pull-thru... More

Nice clean bathroom and camping sites along the lake are very nice. Golf course wasn't in good shape but has a lot to do with time of year. Resort has a restaurant , few walking trails. Not a lot to do in this area but nice place to get away.

This is a combination resort and conference hotel, golf course, combat vehicle and aircraft exhibit, park, and campground facility. It is 10 miles west of I-75 and convenient to the Carter family site, Andersonville prison site, and the Jefferson Davis Memorial.

Nice park. Clean bath houses. A few short hiking trails. Beach. There's not much to see and do (other than see the museum) unless you're here for water activities.

This is a very beautiful State Park. The resort is right on the lake & there are also cabins you can rent or camping. Great fishing!

The park can be accessed even if you are not staying at Lake Blackshears Resort. Very quiet - nice long walk. There is a small outdoor museum of military vehicles in the park also.

This Georgia State Park offers so much and the rental cabins are a great bargain. First off, the museum and many aircraft static displays are amazing and well worth a visit. The grounds of this very large state park offer opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, frisbee golf course, and with all of the open areas, just about anything from kite... More

While we DID like the park and overall, had a good time during our four-day stay, park management is not really sensitive to the needs of guests. Yes, I fully understand that it is necessary to burn undergrowth to prevent more serious fires, but we did not enjoy being there when it happened (two days). The windows of the cottages... More
