Great place to visit for a day of fishing, swimming, and a picnic. There is a great Sunset to enjoy over the Lake if weather permits.

We last went for the 4th of July firework show, which is always a great show!!! We go several times a year and take the boat. They have nice, always clean restrooms right at the boat dock, which is great!

It was a little disappointing to see the B29 just sitting there exposed to the elements. It would seem like they could do a little more for such a rare plane. Don't know about the rest of the park as I went to see the plane. They did charge parking just to stop and look at the plane.

The golf course in the State Park is excellent - good condition, challenging, but fair and great value - about $20 per round

This is one beautiful park. Most of the sites are directly on the lake but the others all have views of the lake. Serene and peaceful. We were on site 5 and it is perfect. Directly on the lake. Privacy from other sites. There is a small grocery at the entrance to the park...Striplers. It has everything you could every... More

We are Camp Hosts at the park and have been here for almost 2 months. The sites are well spaced with several right on the lake. All of the sites in Loops 1 and 2 are either on the water or have a water view. Loop 3 is across the road from the lake but the sites are all pull-thru... More

Nice clean bathroom and camping sites along the lake are very nice. Golf course wasn't in good shape but has a lot to do with time of year. Resort has a restaurant , few walking trails. Not a lot to do in this area but nice place to get away.

This is a combination resort and conference hotel, golf course, combat vehicle and aircraft exhibit, park, and campground facility. It is 10 miles west of I-75 and convenient to the Carter family site, Andersonville prison site, and the Jefferson Davis Memorial.
