First off it's free! Which was a huge bonus and I wish I would have known this place was here all along! I'm not much of a art fanatic but the paintings were beautiful. Doesn't look that big from the outside but the inside you have upstairs and downstairs full or history about Columbus/ Phenix City and art.

The exhibit are always changing which I love my favorites have been Bob Marley, Micheal Jackson, and the Depression. My children love the kids museum on the bottom level. Plus two of my kids have had there artwork shown via school entries, that is always neat to see.

The building contains more art displays, than history-related displays. There are several floors you can view and access.

I would have liked a little more history and a little less art. I'm sure others would like the reverse. It was well set up for families.

I liked the variety. Not all the exhibitions were to my liking but there was enough variety for me to find things that I did like and linger there.

It has a wide variety of art from a very large Chihuly to art works of most periods. Very attractive museum, easy to walk.

This museum was just the right size. Not super busy and easy to find. You can walk it in an hour, but if you take your time expect 2-3 hours. The art exhibits were great and there is a docent there to answer questions. Down stairs they have hands on exhibits for children. Definetly worth the trip. Free admission, donations... More
