There always seems to be something new added every time we visit. Try to go every other month. They change exhibits and add new ones all the time. The Grand Kids love the children's area on the bottom floor. Just a great little get-a-way for a lazy afternoon.

I'm so glad we took the time to stop in. I took my 8 year old niece and she loved it. It was a great learning opportunity as she asked about the different displays and photos. I think anyone visiting the area should stop in and take the opportunity to explore what they have. It made for a great rainy... More

Along with the National Infantry Museum, this is a must see attraction in Columbus, Georgia. It combines a nice art museum, a small history exhibit and a beautiful garden (which most people miss). They have a kids activity section in the basement where the kids can let their creativity out in a safe environment. Being a history buff, it was... More

Museum is nicely set up and open so you can see everything. The timeline around the wall is very interesting and the interactive scenes are awesome! Front desk staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.

I enjoyed taking my God - daughter she had a blast. This museum had a travel back to the past section, that displayed furniture, clothes, and art. It also has a verbal hands on that you can quiz the kids on & after all that learning it has a very kid friendly children section where your kid can color, take... More

I thought that this trip would be boring since I'm not to much into Art I took my kids 7 and 5 there are a lot of hands on activities for the kids and a lot of history and large displays. I was pleasantly surprised we had such a good time and am upset I haven't went here earlier after... More

One must commend the curators for their display selections. They have managed to combine regional history and art into a coherent and enjoyable whole. We were genuinely surprised at how much there is to see. The cultural history of the region, from prehistoric Indian cultures through Columbus' role in the manufacture of textiles, is extremely well done and extremely interesting.... More
