We moved here 1 year ago and bought season tickets. Great value and a great season of plays! The building is historic and well maintained.

The Springer has so much to offer...great shows, tours, history, the list goes on. We go to a show at the theater at least two or three times a year. I highly recommend their productions. And, the theater offers you a wonderful glimpse into the past. It is one of the oldest theaters in the country. We love the Springer

We go to a lot of plays -- both regional: the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia, Cape May Stage in New Jersey, Shakespeare in Lenox, Massachusetts, plus Broadway, planned again later this summer as well as over many years before -- but until now, we had not discovered Springer Opera House. The setting is impressive, the cast of actors even... More

I don't think you'd get much out of just going to the Springer Opera House, but if you have a reason to be there like a play or an event, it is a beautiful venue to experience. If you have a particular interest in old theaters, perhaps you could call ahead and arrange a tour.

This is Georgia's State Theater. It is old and beautiful and full of history. If you are in Columbus in October check out the haunted tours. There are some very talented people in the area.

I have been to the Springer many times and always notice something new. The plays and musicals they have are always wonderful. My niece takes acting classes there in the summer and she has a blast

We have been to many shows at the Springer Opera House over the years and have never been disappointed. We always leave remarking that we never knew that Columbus had so many talented people! Besides the excellent shows, the theater itself is a treasure! It would be nice if the theater put an insert into the programs letting the audience... More

Being sophisticates and great patrons of the arts, the Musclechests get our culture on here about once a year. It never disappoints. In this age of Dolby Surround This and Super-Widescreen That, you will be amazed at how thoroughly good live theater in a semi-intimate setting can still whup a movie's tail. Plus it feels great to support the community.... More

They always seem to have a good show going on. I have been to several. I participated in a tour once where we learned the history of this opera house. They also support the military, so they are A okay in my book. I have never been disappointed in a show that I have seen there so far and what... More
