We were here as a group for wine tasting and tour of the Castello. Our guide made the history of the Pazzi family come alive and was informative about the wine produced. The tasting with the bruschetta was very good and all relaxed. They ship worldwide too if you don't or can't buy all you want at the time. The... More

We stayed at Castello del Trebbio for four night. We had a private apartment with a washing machine, a full kitchen, two rooms, and a large bathroom with a shower. We opted for the honeymoon package, which included a cooking lesson (taught in Italian by the mother of the owner of the castle--she was delightful), a tour of the castle,... More

Beautiful surroundings. The castle is still occupied. Good wine! Had to bring some wine home! Alberto was very kind and gave us an interesting history of the castle and family who reside there.

We had a group of four and did the castle tour, wine tasting, cooking class and delicious lunch with what was made in the class. It was actually my favorite part of the trip and the whole trip was fantastic, so that's saying a lot! Our guide was very knowledgeable, fun, interesting and made us feel very much at ease.... More

The highlight of one of our days in Tuscany was a ride to the Pazzi Castle of Medici fame, now a private residence and winery of excellence. Having watched DaVInci's Demons on STARZ, this was an especially interesting stop. Not only did we get a Castle tour, including the famous Conspiracy Room; but also got to tour the Winery and... We spent 2 lovely nights at one of the farmhouses. A basket of goodies including homemade peach jam was provided for breakfast. Upon arrival, we went on a tour of the castle and did a wine tasting. We made two pasta types with two different sauces as part of the cooking class in the farmhouse. The food was delicious. The... More

Our visit to this castle was part of a Trafalgar tour experience and included dinner and wine-tasting. As castles go, it was pretty interesting to go through the dungeons and wine cellars. But, the history of the original owners of the castle and the intrigue involving the Medici family, the Vatican and the Pozzi family (the original inhabitants of the... More

The Castello del Trebbio tour, wine tasting and cooking class was definitely a highlight for those in our group who have been to Italy multiple times and for the first timers. The pasta made during the class was the best meal I had the whole trip! They were generous with the wine tasting. It's a gorgeous setting and the staff... More

We visited Castello del Trebbio during Easter but unfortunately found the castle closed as we did not read the information regarding booking. But the castle grounds and surrounding area is still worth visiting as well as the Castello del Trebbio wine tasting facility opposite the castle.
